Refrigerator Service

Tried to schedule service but service was scheduled for my address in CA while my refrigerator is in OH , when scheduling I confirmed OH address twice but order was written for CA address, Salvador advised he would cancel and resubmit to OH. I reconfirmed today for address in OH and hopefully this one will be correct, but unable to speak to a live person so will have to wait.

It is very easy and simple, because visually one cannot give a diagnosis, one has to uncover the items to see if a part needs repair or not, that was what your worker did, he only came visually and said that it was a spare part that was damaged, the magician

Horrible Service

I am on my third visit as of tomorrow and my washer isn't repaired. The first visit I reported that the washer wasn't draining or spinning. A week later a new part arrived and was replaced. I was told the machine completed a full cycle and he left. I put a load in only to discover the washer only completed the wash cycle. It still does not rinse or spin so again I had to wring out clothing by hand and wait another week for what may be poor inefficient service again.

Fraudulent & Poor Customer Service

I have had two negative interactions with this tech. In 2022, Martin attempted to fraud me out of my Kenmore Pro fridge. He tried to convince me that the repair cost significantly more than it should, tried to get me to pay him under the table outside of Sears, and then tried to convince me to give him my fridge. He would not show me the estimate as required and refused to provide his supervisor's information. He also did not want to submit a warranty claim for the part that was broken and covered. I complained to Sears and requested a different Sears tech and the price to repair my Kenmore Pro was significantly less than what Martin proposed. Now in 2025, despite me making multiple requests for a different tech, I was told that Martin is the only tech in my area for Sears Home Services. He came to my home today, charged me $129, and then told me I must contact LG to get my fridge repaired even though like my Kenmore Pro, it's also a Kenmore product purchased from Sears. I informed him that the manual states for me to call Sears Home Services and not LG. He stated that Sears Home Services does not repair Kenmore products after the company went bankrupt. I then called LG to be informed that because I have a Kenmore fridge purchased from Sears that the service and warranty should be processed through Sears Home Services. LG confirmed that it makes parts for Sears fridges but the warranties are processed through Kenmore/Sears. I then called Sears Home Services and explained the issue, and as suspected, was told that Martin should have submitted the part's warranty claim via Sears Home Services to LG. The tech/ repair company and not the customer make the claim to LG. I am unsure why Sears Home Services continues to employ someone that does not represent the brand's integrity and attempts to defraud its customers. He should not be permitted to provide service to Sears customers. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

The tech didn't know how to work on our fridge and was too worried about selling an extended warranty. He told us that one of our boards was out but if we wanted it fixed we would have to replace both of them. Then he can back in told us he couldn't fix it because only 1 of the board is available and couldn't get one but if we had the extended warranty they would find the part. What a croc of crap scam from the get go.

My fridge is still does not give cold air after the repair

The technician came, replaced everything and told us to wait 12 hours. We waited and it still doesn't work. My repair experience

Dexter is well spoken he spoke right around my refrigerator problem and why it's not working. I still don't know what wrong with my refrigerator. He suggested that I unplug my refrigerator for 24hours then plug it back in and see what happens. Nice guy but I hope I never see him again.
