Not very Personable.
Richard was here the first time in July, after we waited 1 1/2 weeks for our appt. While here he stated we needed a new part and ordered it, but was not able to return to our home for 3 weeks. When he came back, he stated we needed a new compressor. if we ordered, it would be another 2 weeks before installation could be done. First, I think Richard isn't up to par on his diagnosis. I think he needs more training to be able to not cause the frustration we have incurred. We are not going to spend anymore money on this refrigerator, because it is foolish to spend that kind of money on an older frig. Sears needs more technicians to handle the service you are selling.

Nice guy but not efficient
Michael showed up the first time and figured out the safety switch was broken. We knew it was likely also the motor but he didn't test that. Visit #2 - I took off work all day and no one showed up. Visit #3 - Michael came and decided that the motor was no good and ordered the parts. Vist #4 - no show and I was rescheduled without any choice. Then within 24 hours, rescheduled again. Visit #5 is on 8/16. It could have been DONE in two visits but is dragging. No wash machine forever. This is ridiculous and no way to contact a person at Sears Home Services. I am having to NOT WORK for every day there is supposed to be a visit. Do it right the first time, do a thorough check and then he can get to more people.

Not fixed
2nd tech that's been out to work on fridge and still can't get it to cool properly

Service review
Dear Customer Service: The technician that serviced my Kenmore washer yesterday did a poor job. I did a load of wash this morning and the front load washer door was still caked with film. I ran my fingers along w the rubber sealer and they were dirty. He completed this maintenance check so quickly, unlike previous maintenance technicians. I don't think it is worth paying extra for this service in the future. Disappointed!

Maintenance check
Technician stated he doesn't typically work on furnaces. Stated he works on washing machines & refrigerators. Technician didn't realize that removing panels to furnace triggered cutoff switch for furnace. Technician stated he doesn't have a meter to check carbon monoxide, which every time we have a yearly check the technician uses. Didn't pull any hoses or check wiring.

Technician for Sears D W
The Technician came in, looked at our dishwasher, would not call our warranty Co, would not answer questions on their forms, he said it would be 411.00 to replace the water pump and then most likely the motor would go out. He promised us something in writing within a couple of hours. At 8:19, 8:20, 8:23, 8:23, and again at 8:23 they sent exact same paper 5 times. After my 2nd or 3rd phone call to them. We wanted something to work with for our Warranty Co to help us decide the best course of action since our "15 year old" dishwasher had Never had a problem but was probably about done. He said we declined an estimate, no, we wanted a diagnosis and an idea of the cost and his Expert advice what to do. He was neither friendly nor unfriendly. He did say maybe better off not to spend that much on an older dishwasher. !! If you want the job wouldn't you do an inspection and give us a bid! It was not a good day for us

Service Review
Ruined the throw rug in front of the washer and dryer with grease and oil. Left old parts for us to dispose of. In the past the technician has taken them with him for disposal. Moved the dryer so close to the back wall it pinched off the vent hose and insisted he hadn't moved the dryer. Arguementive................

Orderd wrong part
1st time he came he was over two hours late. He showed me the part I needed but when it came it was the wrong part. This trip he arrived without a text or call before, I was in my pajamas. He ended fixing the washer but was over one and a half hours doing it.

Dryer Repair
Took 6 weeks from initial call until unit was repaired. On 2 occasions a week apart each time the parts needed to fix my dryer hadn't been ordered properly or lost in the mail. Not sure which is true. In total had 4 service calls made to my residence a week apart each time. Guy was nice but took much too long for repair.

Paul review
Paul arrived this morning at approximately 9:00. I showed him my pictures & video of the leak. He took off metal plates at bottom of dishwasher, looked inside. Said he suspected a filter or the vent were the problem. Looked at other things inside it. Ran dishwasher briefly, no leaks visible. He put the metal plate back on, said to run it again and if it leaked to put my hand up along the bottom of the dishwasher to feel where the leak was coming from. I told him I would put part of the dishes back in the dishwasher and run it, so I did. Within 15 minutes I had a leak, this time on the left side of it, about 5 minutes later a leak was showing up on the right. I also noticed condensation & heat coming out of the vent area on the left. My dishwasher still is not fixed after 3 visits, 2 from Robert & 1 from Paul..
