Replacer dryer heater part

Technician did a quick assessment of the problem with dryer. Picked up the part replaced it. Took longer to get the part than changing it out :)

Freezer Repair

Abdul was very professional and explained what the diagnostic fee would be before looking at the freezer. Once he looked at the freezer he knew exactly what the problem was and explained it all to us. The freezer was repaired with instructions to us on how to proceed in the future. We really liked him and wish he had left a business card with us.

Washer lock repair

Although the frozen lock was repaired, I was disappointed the tech had not checked washer for other possible malfunctions. My past experience with experienced techs has shown this to be standard procedure. The lock on this model has been a continuous issue and this time I was not clear whether there were other issues. The lid lock functions, but the thoroughness of the service was not satisfactory. Any repair on an appliance should be followed by running the machines to confirm they are in full operation. Anyone disagree?

Didn't follow through

Asked Andrew the repairman to reconnect the dryer vent and to remove front of dryer so I could clean the lint out but he left before doing either requested item. He did accomplish putting in the new part that took over 5 weeks to arrive.

My Kenmore refrigerator.

Rawle F. collected my $85.00 and then he informed Choice home Warrantee so he could order the parts. Choice warrantee denied the claim because the lights were dim and needed to be changed. and choice is saying that the lights are not mechanical. I requested that the refrigerator door, seal gasket need changing, Refrigerator is freezing up and a freezer panel is loose and falling down. what that has to do with lights.

I was Very disappointed in the scheduling of your service person today.. I had told him last week my Husband & I both had appointments scheduled at 12:30 today. If he could pick a different day it would be better.. he said he would make it his 1st job of the day.. he showed up at 11:35am. My Husband stayed home and missed is appointment (of which we will have to Pay a fee for the missed appointment) to let your Service Tech do the job! He completed the job within a reasonable amount of time and departed. His assigned time was 8-12. I'm not going to give a rating on this as he did not follow through as promised. He did replace the gasket on my freezer.

Kenmore washing machine

On August 2 we started with Selwyn putting in 4 shock absorbers! He left and then the drum came apart. We called and sent another person Steve and he said they would try to order the part but said because the washer was close to 20 yrs old they didn't think they could. On August 15, Selwyn came back and said no part was available. He wrote an order for a replacement and said we would hear from redemption center within 72 hours. We have been on the phone with people from India stating that someone would get back to us. Nobody ever did. We initiated a call this morning and because now they said that there would be no replacement. We have canceled our contract and want nothing more from Sears. This has been going on since August 2 and I was without a washer for all that time. Why didn't they tell us right away so we didn't have to be without a washer all that time. Again frustrated and disappointed in Sears

Re Furnace: He suggested that we cut the humidifier filter (which the compartment is not accessible) and don't use the humidifier!!! Also, stated, "The humidifier was NOT on his work order!!!" We scheduled appointments for A/C & repositioning of the humidifier and changing the filters, which has been issues for a long time!!! However, he stated, "the a/c is fine!"
