Icemaker and refrigerator repair

Didn't put the icemaker back in and allowed ice to drop all over our freezer. Very disappointed that he didn't finish the job

Multiple Problems not fixed after multiple visit; one problem was intermittent and a part had already arrived being ordered by the previus serviceman. As the problem was not occurring at the moment Rico arrived on scene, he stated "no sense fixing it now - keep the part." One day later the same issue occurred and of course it was a week plus until someone could come back to install the replacement part.

A outstanding service by him on all our appliances. Great additude, on time, very thoroughly, answered our questions & he could not have handled anything better. A real professional for sears service. A great experience for us as true sears appliance customer for over 50 YEARS.we We have over 14 sears kenmore appliances. This was one of the best sears service calls that we have had over the years. Please thank him for us !

Never showed up

Our refrigerator door pops open when the other door is closed. This is not normal and the technicians keep saying it is. Our ice maker stops working when the door is ajar for a long time, which happens multiple times a day. This is unacceptable and yet the technicians do not even try to fix it. We waste hours of time waiting for repairmen that do not show up because this is normal! We have a Sears Home Warranty and the refusal to show up and fix the problem is not right.

Didn't fix the problem

We had two service calls on our dryer and the problem wasn't fixed either time. So frustrating! Both technicians (not just Dallas) said that the problem was corrected but if they had run the dryer for a longer amount of time, they would have seen that after several minutes the heat would shut off. After the second service appointment also failed, we did a quick Google search and determined that it was likely a Gas Valve Solenoid problem. So, after wasting almost two weeks with no dryer and spending $120+ for service calls that did nothing, we purchased the part online for like $40 and fixed the dryer ourselves in just a few minutes. Ugh!

The Refrigerator is still not working

Thomas has been out 3 times to service this refrigerator. Sanjay has been out 1 time. The first time we were told there was a gas leak and it's flammable. The second time, Thomas didn't have Freon to fix the issue. Sanjay came out and found no "problem history" on our refrigerator and was unable to fix the leak. Thomas came back a 3rd time, installed new parts and left. The refrigerator is still not working. It has power and is running hot. The gas leak has permeated the interior plastic of the refrigerator. We purchased the item in Nov and it was dented. We requested another and we received it in Dec 2022. The fridge started smelling in July, during summer break ( we are a school and this is the fridge that the teachers keep their lunches in). We started in August 2023 trying to get this fixed. Kenmore has been less than helpful and doesn't seem to care about any of this. I will never buy a Kenmore product. This has been a nightmare. And it still isn't fixed and our entire office smells like chemicals. I would like to give no stars, but apparantly I have to give at least 1. It is not a deserved star at all.

Bad service

Not good , still the dishwasher on heavy wash is not working. The technician did not have the insurance with him so he could not fix anything just said everything is ok.

Appointment Disappointment

Steve was great, when he got there. The problem was that, at 7:30am that morning, I had an email that said Steve would be there at 9:37am; around 7:50am, it said 9:51am. When I check around 9am, it just said 8am-5pm with no indication who would be coming. I thought for sure he had been delayed, but was still coming. So I didn't feel comfortable leaving for any of my errands as I couldn't guarantee I would be back to meet him even with 20-30 minutes lead time. Finally, at 2:30, Steve called and said he would be there between 4-6pm. According to him, I was on his route and then I wasn't, leading him to believe that I had been assigned to a different technician. Then I appeared on his route again. I don't appreciate being held hostage for an entire day and was very disappointed in the whole process. Sears, you can do better!!!
