Second visit by tech. Problem was still not addressed. Parts were sent ahead if time, tech said they were not needed and took them with him. Very disappointed with the warranty service!

The tech did not submit my issues properly to my home warranty company and he also broke my ice bin where it no longer snaps in place.

Lazy and unprofessional

Tech did not try to resolve problem. First tech did not have work truck and had to reschedule. The next day his work truck broke again and had to reschedule. Third day a different tech came out and saw a roach on the way and says he cannot work on it for that reason. I purchased a warranty for service parts and labor. I did not receive any such thing. Technician was rude to my parents and made for an unpleasant situation.

Rude, disrespectful, and argumentative

He was given the description to come and fix the rubber seal around our front load washer and dryer combo. He did not fix it. He just walked out arguing and accusing me of causing the problem without any evidence . The issue that happened with the seal around the front door was not cause by us. It was factory manufacture defect. I explain to him, but he won't listen. He insisted and argued with me stating he been doing this for 30+ years and at the same time while accusing me to cause the issue. He was rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. We have been waiting for a repair for almost 5 days just for him to come and act in such manner was unacceptable. He shouldn't be allowed to go to people houses to do such a work.

1st Contact for Home Warranty on Stackable Washer Dryer

Since I am unsure who is going to see this, whether it's posted on internet or goes to both Sears & the independent technician that came to house, I am in working with my Warranty company to assign a different company or technician. The entire 1st contact was a negative one. If Sears does review this, I would like to speak to a supervisor about the contact from beginning to end. And before a technician even was involved, it started as I had to be available from 8am to 5pm. This was a diagnosis of problem with washer. There was no repairing or replacement of anything. In all my years of owning homes & cars or even getting cable put in for new homes, it was never an 8am to 5pm window. It was MY problem & I was ok with it but it seemed a little excessive for me to be available ALL DAY. The next day starting with a phone call from technician about my issue went downhill faster than anything I've ever experienced. It was a total mistake from beginning to end with Sears. My Warranty company even gave me the option to call around to have the initial diagnosis done & I decided to let them send someone. I will not make that mistake ever again. I was very disappointed in the Sears technician. He was in a marked van but when he arrived, he never introduced himself nor did he have any business cards. When I asked, he would only give his 1st name & said his other info will be on paperwork which I never received from him. Downhill folks, I will be actively contacting my Warranty company as well as Sears on this one.

Do not recommend Sears. I paid extra for next day service. The repair tech was rude to my tenant and was just trying to sell Me the warranty repair. Was trying to charge a labor/repair cost on a washer less than a year old more than a new washer for a 5 min repair that I then saw on YouTube. Also didn't have any of the parts so in reality wouldn't have been fixed for over a week.

The tech came to our place and fixed the washer, the attitude was not the best, when he called he was not friendly on the phone, and then we got to our home he was giving my wife attitude and asking for towels and buckets and wanted something to lay down on and started telling my wife that women don't know how to use washers and that she should have asked her husband to teach her how to use a washer, unpleasant experience and rude, I was outside the country on a business trip and that was the last thing I needed to know that my wife went through when she is getting something fixed in the house. Won't recommend to anyone for sure.

It worked out I had the same day service! Our refrigerator fan stopped working and was freezing some of our meats. Now it works perfectly. Thank you!!
