Patrick told me that the warranty does not cover the flickering on my microwave display because it is cosmetic. I paid $100 deductible, but I was denied a refund when I called about the matter. I also paid $100 deductible for my refrigerator repair. A repair was unnecessary. Patrick cleaned the lever, and it slid well again. Because it was not repaired but only cleaned (a simple, minuscule task), I requested a refund for this, but it was also denied. I have been a loyal and content Sears customer for about 50 years, but I am very displeased with the warranty service and refund procedure. I had to wait about a month before I was refunded correctly for the returned parts to repair my refrigerator in April. As a result, I have cancelled my warranty service because this has been a stressful and terrible experience for me.

Never use again

I will never use Sears Home Service again. Made 2 three hour one way trips to house at lake. Never could talk with a human. No options to talk to anyone but AI Samatha. Ugh. Tech late but not able to check. Really came in a looked at dishwasher. Never tested or touched. Never again

I got an email arrival windows 8:20 AM to 10:20 AM… estimate arrival 9:28 AM Nothing… no update so after 3 pm on phone until 3:30… saying on their way; unacceptable… I have in video evidence what I've been trying to show John twice before… had a virtual visit Thursday and sent video to Robert… Bob in January 2025 witnessed my observations… still nothing. Had an appointment July 5 after mandated July 3 appointment with Robert! 5th appointment just poof went away so waited ALL day until I could t take it anymore… integrity. I have it. Not Sears

Very bad service

Was very bad, she came 15 days ago and she diagnosed the problem, she said she can dix it since they do mot have the parts. She said need to contact Sears and they need to send a Sears technician, so I did. Today she show up again and I ask if she has the parts she said that she did not order the parts that she came to diagnostic the problem I told her that she did that 15 days ago. So she said she is going to order the parts she call Sears then she call someone else, sho told me that they couldn't find the parts so I need to call Sears to send someone from Sears she is a independent contractor.

Overall rating

Technician didn't come. we did not receive any calls to tell us he was not coming. A "signed" form was submitted to state that he did the service. I did not sign it. Dealing with Sears home services is frustrating. Due to our warranty contract we cannot use anyone else. There is not a human to talk to. It is all automated and AI. My refrigerator has a new appointment and I have no idea if someone is going to show up, if they realize that someone already came out last week to diagnose, and its a mess.

Waited all day for service. Never called or showed up to say he wasn't coming. Couldn't reach a live person at Sears. All AI runaround. Not Happy with your customer service. Sad state of affairs. Manny

I'm very disappointed that he came out only to tell me that my appliance was t covered under the insurance. And more disappointed that I was charged $100 and nothing was done. I'm asking for a reimbursement for my $100. I also have a refrigerator that has been worked one more than 4 times by y'all and it's not fixed either. I do not recommend this insurance to anyone.
