Fridge repair
Erick did a good job. I am puzzled because Erick ordered parts and we waited three weeks to get them. When they came no one contacted us about setting up an appointment to install them. The next Tech that came out said the parts were where the wrong ones. He installed them and ordered a new correct part. When the part came again no one contacted us. I called and made the appointment. Erick came this time. But he came a day later the appointment. NO one called to tell us the appointment had changed. Erick, checked the fridge and said that we didn't need the part and everything was working fine. My wife wanted him to install it but Erick didn't want too. After going back and forth, Erick did install it. Long story short; we waited over a month to get our fridge fixed. I still am not sure what the problem was and which tech was right. There was poor communication on Sears part. The tech's were not all at fault for some of this. It was not a good experience.
Fridge Repair,
Modesto, CAIce maker slow in making ice
John checked everything out to make sure everything was working properly and it was. He told us to make the temperature of the freezer colder so it would make ice faster. He also said that it takes 4 days for my bin in my ice maker to get full. We'll see what happens.

And very pleased with the work they did well one of them did the other didn't show up until the work was completed however it would have been nice if they disposed of the empty boxes that the parts came in
Amy F,
Nashua, NHShort notice and confused estimatr
Courtesy call only 10 minutes prior and won't be able to wait if you're late. Estimate can only be provided by email cannot be paper. Email estimate does not give you a complete and clear picture. The estimate provided only have the parts cost and did not include the labor cost. And we are told by the technician to call customer service for any further questions or clarification.
J,
San Jose, CAOk experience
He arrived after the intended appointment and never offered an explanation nor did he call prior to arriving. His English was difficult to understand but after asking follow up questions or asking for repeating, I understood him. Regarding fixing the refrigerator he asked for a towel and then after just left the wet dirty towel in my sink. ICK! I would have preferred him asking where to leave it, I would have just taken it from him.

The techician was polite but regused to work on the appliance. The model # tag was not legible so he reject servicing the ice maker. I paid American Hone Shield for nothing. Very unhappy with outcome. This appliance was in home when we bought the house. I am feeling ripped off by home warranty for a service call that had zero resolution.
Deb S,
Hemingway, SC400 to 500 for icemaker fix
John was good but an extra 129 on top of 109 is too high. Then up to 4oo or 500 to fix..outrageous.
Paul M,
Harrodsburg, KYTook over 3-months to get fixed.
John was a nice guy and he communicated very well with me; however, it was the another Sears service guy that figured out the problem and ordered the correct part. Then John returned to repair it. I believe we had 6 or 7 parts to come throughout the 3 months. I'm just glad it finally fixed. I've owned appliances by Frigidaire my entire life. I couldn't believe how their dishwasher broke down within 3 years. My old Frigidaire dishwasher over was 21-years-old and still worked before replacing it due to an upgraded kitchen.
Lunye S,
Milwaukee, WIDidn't resolve main issue
He fixed one of the problems but the main problem keeping my food cold is still not fixed after replacing the part. Now I need to wait til 8/16 to have them look at it again and I can't buy food cause my fridge is not cold enough.
