Replace freezer gasket
Service tech was most competent, courteous, friendly and professional. He arrived on time and completed the repair in a timely manner.

Antonio was competent and courteous. He determined that because of the hot weather the freezer was not able to release the heat from the compressor and recommended using an external blower.

Jermaine has been the same tech I've dealt with since we had issues in February. He has done everything to keep our unit running. However, a 20 year old freezer can only do so much. Today was a day that a simple fix is not available. He has always been on time and honest and has patience to explain things. Based on the repair estimate it will be cheaper to get a new freezer versus keeping this 20 year old unit. You're in good hands with Jermaine.

Our experience with Jovontae has been excellent! Our experience with Sears was horrible. I called to report a freezer not working on 1/2/24. Now it is late June and it appears the freezer has finally been fixed (maybe). After 7 or 9 visits (we lost count), Javontae was finally able to cobble together a bunch of parts that were not intended for this freezer and make it work. Our hats off to him for sticking with the project. He was so polite and respectful, a true professional. In our opinion, he tried his very best. Also in our opinion, Sears wasted a lot of money and time on fixing this freezer, both yours and mine. Now we have what appears to be a working freezer that we don't/won't trust for a while until it proves itself to keep the proper temperature. We don't want to put food in it yet which means more unnecessary trips to the grocery store and not being able to take advantage of specials, especially meats. I'm not sure the reasoning behind continuing to throw money at the appliance but I'm sure there must be one. Thank you for this opportunity to share what a great technician Javontae is and to air our grievances about Sears.
