Freezer not defrosting.
He said nothing was wrong. Today I opened the freezer door and everything was thawed. So I rate his service as less than a 1, I had to throw out good thawed food.

Freezer repair
I was told it is not repairable because the part isn't available. It's not even 2 1/2 years old. I ask for the diagnostic fee to be waived because it is not my fault it can't be repaired. I will never use them again

Poor service
technician said the freezer could not be fixed that it was warped come to find out how a second to paint. The door was not work. The gasket was just gone and I would like a full refund.

GE Fridge/freezer repair
While Kareem D was friendly and polite, he did not send needed replacement part numbers to GE. I was told that GE would call me within 24-48 hrs which they didn't. When I called 4 days later, GE had nothing in their records from Kareem about the compressor failure. Now, I find out that GE no longer is doing business with Sears Home Services (Kareem), andhave to wait another 5 days to have a new technician come out and start the process all over again.

Freezer gasket replacement on 7 January 2025
Technician's performance was perfect. Your company policy was not. When I first called to acquire a gasket repair your representative asked about the condition of the failed freezer gasket, FOR WHICH I HAVE BEEN CARRYING REPAIR INSURANCE FOR YEARS. I said that it had deterioriated, and was leaking air into the freezer. When questioned about details I said there was some black at the top, which I did NOT view directly, as I would need to use a ladder, being only 5 foot 5 in height. Your employee said that my Sears insurance would not cover that physical part as it implied that mold was present, and Sears would not cover mold accumulation. The person said I would have to purchase a new multi-hundred-dollar gasket at my own expense. When the technician arrived to remove the gasket, and I got a good look at it's condition, I could see that the gasket itself was not moldy although dirt had accumulated on top of tape I had placed on it after it started leaking moisture. The gasket did NOT fail due to mold accumulation. Still, I am out over $200 for a gasket I believe should have been paid for via my repair insurance. The experience makes me wonder if the insurance is worth the price. Just thinking... By the way, in addition to the freezer insurance which is still current, I had "Whole House insurance" with you until I needed it, when I had a plumbing issue which caused me to call in my local plumber, who charged me a very modest repair price. You would not reimburse me, as you claimed you only covered technician repairs made my people you dispatched. The cost was well under $200. When I realized that I could not use your Whole House insurance for repairs done by verdors I have been using for decades, I cancelled the Whole House insurance. I now am wondering about the freezer insurance. I am NOT closing it down yet, but I am wondering if it is worth the cost. Examine how much I have paid you in premiums, and how much you have covered. Think?

diagnostic gone wrong
i had Jose come to do a diagnostic on my refrigerator's water and ice dispenser to determine if and how it would be cleaned and if it needed to be replaced (per Fridigaire's customer service instructions). Jose gave me instructions on cleaning the dispenser and then looked at the water filter. unfortunately in taking the filter in and out of the filter housing structure, the filter housing structure was damaged and is now leaking water. this has created a massive problem for me and needs to be rectified. the unit was not leaking water before the diagnostic service. we need this damage, inflicted on our unit by a sears representative, to be fixed as soon as possible and to be paid for by sears.

The worst service ever
Sears missed the first two or three appointments to diagnose my freezer. The technician that finally arrived ordered a fan. Fan took a couple of weeks to ship. Sears then canceled or just didn't show up to four final service calls. Cody, was customer friendly and appeared to be competent, immediately diagnosed the problem to be the compressor. He made a tertiary search for a replacement compressor. He couldn't find one, and inform me that I would need to source the compressor. Your firm is without doubt the worst service company I have interface with in my 66 years on this earth. There's been no follow up, indicating you understand the situation, no apologies for all the missed appointments, no urgency, and trying to settle my claim. I have informed Thor that after buying several appliances from them, I will not purchase anything with their brand on it. I will also ask any future appliance manufactures if they use sears as their contracted warranty company, and if they do, I will not buy that brand

This employee needs to be fired
Since April of 2024 this employee have been assigned my appliances and have been a no shoe lying to say parts needed and even forging the homeowner signature as the repair was completed
