Freezer diagnostic
Serviceman arrived took one look at the freezer and informed us that, that type of freezer are known for failure. He looked at it for approximately 10 minutes . Informed me that the compressor was drawing about 1 amps and it should be lower and it would cost more that half of what we paid for it to repair. By replacing the compressor. We paid the service call. After he left we left it plugged in and it has run perfectly maintaining a zero or below temperature for.the last week. He obviously didn't know what he was doing and didn't do a proper diagnosis. Very disappointed in the service. It was a waste of money

Not impressed
He came, looked and said in halting English. Low on Freon so must buy new freezer, probably Frigidaire. No one can get R-12 anymore.

Terrible service
Terrible service. He refused to report the repair to my home warranty company and they are refusing to replace my refrigerator without the authorization being filled out by the tech.

He did not show up
Horrible. 3rd no show. Worst service I've ever had. I will never use Sears again after being a loyal customer for over 30 years.

No diagnostics
There were no diagnostics done at all. I provided the model and serial numbers ahead of time, as I was asked to do to expedite repair and the only thing we got was a quote for all the parts that could possibly need changed. We paid for a diagnostic fee, but received a quote without any diagnostic work at all. I feel duped

Unhappy
Took three weeks to get a technician to come out. Once a technician did arrive he was here less than 10 minutes and tells me my freezer has a blockage and that to fix it would cost is well over $800.00 . Suggest I would be better off buying a new one. Will you be paying the diagnostics $129.00. So I had to wait 3 weeks for a diagnostic. No happy 😒

Freezer not working
Ripoff, did nothing but tell me it's not working (wow already new that) collected their 138 dollars and left. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Dishonest repair
This technician was not honest, claimed he came to my house, completed the service, and closed out the repair, but it was not true. I was home all morning and all day, he did not come to my house, my freezer is still broken, no repair what's done. Seem to can't trust anyone these days. I do hope that Sears will stand by their commitment. And rectify this situation.

Communications lacking
He sat in repair vehicle for better than 30 minutes before coming to the door. Did the same when he left in my driveway. Not impressed with his (lack) customer service skills.
