The freezer repair itself seems to have gone well. However the broken light cover on my ceiling light makes me wonder what happened. I had a friend work from my house as I could not get off he informed of the broken glass. It would have been nice to have Suk text me to let me know. He has my number, because it is on the contact info. Between the broken light and not updating until I called while waiting for him on the day of the diagnostic evaluation, that doesn't make me want to use this service again. These are simple things that go a long way with a customer.

The 1st time he came back - the package had not been delivered. Apparently he should have asked me where package are delivered since we don't have a mailbox at the house. It is at the street leading into our neighbor hood.

Diagnosis was way too general. Not specific. Estimated cost of repair exceeded cost of replacement. I feel he stated everything that could potentially be wrong. Instead of making a true diagnosis. I could get the same info if I googled it.

The service tech was limited in what questions he answer. He said he was allowed to answer questions and referred me to Sears. My overall experience with Sears was very bad. It took over 3 weeks to get repair made. The parts were delivered to the wrong house, and had to be reordered. You can't talk to a live person. The technician damaged the floor of my freeze. He set on the inside to screw a part back in and a sharp object in his pocket punched a hole in the plastic floor.

We had this problem after something shifted in the freezer and left the door ajar and thawing contents. The person who did the diagnostic was quick and did the diagnostic accurately, but, the parts cost and labor I believe were excessive after checking on the Frigidaire site. Have another related issue I feel was missed by the original diagnostic. It is how you do business and your excessive charges for labor is your policy, however I will NOT use your service again!

Blake spoke with LG rep who suggested we fill freezer with more meat! While we aren't convinced this will resolve the issue, we will try this and report back .
