Troy T,
Dayton, OHTechnician Know How To Fix Freezer Problems!
He actually knew the problem, and reached out to another technician to fix our problem - the freezer kept building up ice on the bottom of the freezer and we were defrosting it every 3 weeks. He actually fixed the clogged drain, and then replaced the gasket, and now our freezer works again!

Zachary, LACouldn't be bothered!
I will preface this with the statement that our refrigerator was repaired. The deep dive is that the technician took every short cut available. The part to be replaced was on the back wall of the freezer (bottom of the fridge). He took out the inside drawers and handed them to me saying'do something with this'. He never bothered to remove the outside front. Instead he wrested with the back panel until he was able to get it tilted enough to remove. When he replaced the single fan he then once again wrestled with the panel to fit it back in. He replaced the 2 drawers then simply shoved the front drawer back in. When asked if that was it he responded'that was what it said'. Very low confidence in his ability to truly diagnose an issue. After his departure we discovered that the front drawer panel had been bumped off the track. Something that was evident and the technician should have corrected. This repair was over $500 and I feel like I've been taken advantage of.

For what was to be repaired was really pricey, then not to be the problem.cant imagine how pricey the compressor replacement would have been. Freezer just out of warranty,,, probably just junk it. Everything made so cheap today. Consumer gets the shaft

Finally got to the premises after 3 PM and opened it up, saw condition, listened for compressor, said it needed Coolant and probably had a leak, a new compressor or Coil would cost $800.00+ and I said I can buy a new one for roughly that amount. Said if fixed the same would smell and next call would be to clear the smell. That is about it. My son met with him and called me with the results. I doubt I will be using the service again, but a cheap price for a lesson. Bill
William P,
Tabor City, NCUnfixable
The freezer according to him was unfixable. So, it was not fixed, what else is there to say. Thanks
Callestine A,
Capitol Hgts, MDNot sure how he assesses the problem so fast
As he actually didn't even take a look at the freezer but to capture model data from the label. So I'm hoping his assessment is correct. No way to tell
