Darren called to let me know that he was on his way to my home. I gave him the parts that I received for installation. The bottom portion of the freezer was froze when he arrived. Darren was very patient in defrosting the freezer with a hair dryer instead of re-scheduling me for another appointment. I have been waiting to have my freezer repaired since the previous Sears technician was here on Dec 14 and today is December 29. I lost three fourth of the contents in my freezer which was very costly. I very much appreciated Darren installing the parts. He was very professional and courteous.

Theresa V,
Youngstown, OHDean was very knowledgeable and explained everything I asked
Dean was very knowledgeable and professional. I told him about the two chat experiences I had when I was trying to request a service appointment because the red light was blinking and beeping. They asked me a bunch of questions and asked when the coils were last cleaned and I told them I didn't know and he told me to clean them and that should take care of the problem. I told him I'm 81 years old and I have a maintenance agreement and asked if that didn't cover that he said no that was my responsibility. He would send a diagram and a video on how to do it. Neither applied to my freezer. I got my son and grandson to come over and they cleaned the back there were no coils just a compressor. I was told they were in the back and on the sides and the top. I called back because the red light was still blinking and beeping and I told him I didn't want to lose all the meat I had. He said not to worry about that I would get reimbursed for that. I ended the chat. My daughter went out to the garage and said the red light was the freezer was running. This time I called to make a yearly check up. Dean said this type of freezer's coils are inside the frame and are not accessible. Even if the back was dusty it not have caused the problem. He wasn't sure what caused the problem, but everything looked fine, just keep an eye on it for the next few days. These two technicians that I chatted with has us looking for a way to get to the could. Maybe they should look at the right diagram so they know what they're asking the customer to do.
