They came and charged us $400 and our ice maker still does not work. Also can’t get in touch with a real person to speak to and their AI assistant is useless.

My ordeal has been going on for 7months!!!! We have lost ALL trust in Sears! We finally got a technician to come and replace the parts on June 2nd , 2025. The freezer is still not working! I called Sears and they asked what I want and I told them that I want to move to product replacement. They tell me I have to wait for another technician to come out…JULY 1st!!!! I am beyond frustrated! I feel like they are trying to runout the warranty so that Sears does not have to help us! This all started in November and here we are in June! I wish I would have told my mom not to purchase the warranty for Product repair agreement. It’s a total crock! If I wasn’t talking care of this my mom would be getting treated worse! When and if this ever gets resolved I will never do business with Sears ever again!

Very frustrating experience. Scheduled the appointment yesterday (Thursday) and the technician was supposed to be here today (Friday) between 8am - 12pm. Noon came and went, nothing. No call or text, no update whatsoever. Finally at 6:30pm I received a text letting me know that my appointment has now been rescheduled to Monday afternoon instead. I took time off of work today to be here and wasted the entire day waiting. Now I'm going to have to take even more time off Monday afternoon. This is my second poor experience with this company. I understand things happen, but at least give me an update earlier once the original window of time was missed.

Labor charge was criminally high. Took technician 15 minutes to install a $50 part and labor charge was $315. This was not disclosed when appointment made although I asked. If I declined the service, would have been on hook for $129 service call. Intend to file complaint with state consumer protection.

This is a terrible service and I will never never use it again. From trying to make the appointment at a time when I can accommodate the repairman to changing the appointment to having them not show up twice and be late when they did to having them charge me $50 extra which I did not authorize to having difficulty arranging a refund on that excessive charge to poor communication between the various departments involved in the repair. This is a terrible service and I will never use them again.

After online scheduling confirming a next day appointment (which would have been Thursday), we received a text that we were scheduled for service 1-5 last Saturday. Ok... annoying, but fine. Confirmed multiple times via text and email. Got text at 12:55 on Saturday that the appointment was rescheduled to the following Friday. Tried to call and there is literally no way to get a hold of a human via their phone, web, or chat. Kept the appointment out of necessity. Just got a text (Thursday afternoon) rescheduling the appointment to next Wednesday. Went on line to cancel and it says I have to call. What a joke. Do not ever use Sears service. Literally the worst service I've ever experienced.

Joe came back today after his visit three days ago failed to stop our central Air Conditioning from leaking water through the drywall ceiling of our downstairs neighbor. No our furnace blower does not work and for the few minutes we had it on it produced a smell like something was burning. It is less than three years old and never made this odor before. The downstairs neighbor could smell it too and thought the building was on fire. I am stuck with Sears because they are owned by Choice Home Warranty and this is a warranty claim. I regret having to deal with either of these companies and would recommend staying clear of either one.
