overall the experience was less than satisfactory. The first assessment and parts ordered did not fix our problem. The second part ordered(and cancelled and the ordered again) took over three weeks to arrive and then it was a defective part. It was then re-ordered and there were three no-shows by the scheduled technician. Finally the third tech (new) did a very good job and restored the appliance to working order (we hope). Plus the payment did not get processed after the first visit which necessitated contacting the billing service. But as many people have noted, when things like this don't go smoothly, there is no option to talk to a real person on the telephone as it is all AI generated algorithms..... very frustrating. However, in rural areas, there is no other appliance repair to call on as the company has no representatives (LG) available. After 1.5 months + we finally got it fixed. Hopefully ours was an exception with regards to service.

please have him order this part. These door stops come in lots of shapes. This is the one we need. He didn't notice it was broken. my husband glued it, but a piece is still missing

2 guys showed up and neither even looked at washing machine, they just went off of what I said it was doing and said it was going to b nearly $800 to fix one part. Then took my $119 diagnosis fee. If you just sent one repair guy, u could cut a lot of cost and lower your diagnosis fee

I wrote an awful review based on awful service from Sears. I promptly received the response below telling me to call, what about a company reaching out to a customer? This too is a joke, dialed the below 800 number and get into the same loop I had before. What would they want and what option would I push? The owner should call or leave his actual phone number. If Sears truly cared about the service I rec'd, they would look up my phone number and call me and stop putting me through the agony of their system. Not impressed. I suppose the below response looks good to others that might read my review as they think they are doing something about the service I rec'd or compensating me in some way. Further disgusted especially if this actually came from the owner. I was a Vice President of a large company and talking to customers was something I did on a regular basis to maintain relationships. It didn't matter how busy I was or how high I was on the corporate ladder, never forgot where I came from. This rating of a 2 is for Sears and your system, it is not for our service repair person Gunner. I would rate him a 4.5. Unbelievable, the experience with Sears Automated Appointment system. Terrible, it didn't work most of the time and when it did, I didn't receive the automated messages part of the time. No way to contact a human. I spent numerous hours on the phone with the Sears automated system. It was horrible. If I were still working, I would have come unglued. I come from a position in upper management in a customer service-related industry and I can tell you, their system would make most run the other way! It's unacceptable! If I wasn't having issues with my washer and felt the need to continue the extended warranty, I would run to! This experience has taught me to never purchase another extended warranty again but can guarantee I won't cancel this one. Well, it took three weeks to get my washer repaired between failed attempts and appointment failures through your system. I had to frequent the local laundromat which is something I am not fond of and haven't done for many years. When you have a washer and dryer that cost almost $3000, you certainly don't expect it. As far as Gunner, the repair person. He was kind, personable, apologetic for Sears system which is out of his control. We found him to be knowledgeable but a little bit perplexed as to what was going on and what parts to replace. He was always on time and I actually felt sorry for him as I am sure he gets beat up by customers because of your system to set up appointments and communicate. Our technician was great. I’d give him 5 stars for sure, 6 if that were an option. Sears however makes it impossible to have them complete the repair if warranty is in play. They make the process so complicated to navigate. I had to go to another repair company to complete the work because Sears process is horrible.

We had a horrible experience with Gunner. He was out here 4 times to try to fix our dishwasher. He destroyed our hardwood floor which we kept our mouth shut about because he seemed nice. Once he ordered the second heat pump, thinking the first was just was a lemon, it was decided our dishwasher just couldn’t be fixed. He assured us that we could return the heat pump that cost $756 and didn’t need and he would come back out to initiate the return and refund. I scheduled twice to schedule and after waiting all day he never showed up. I then called customer service and was sent a refund form of my own to send the heat pump back, but in the meantime another appointment was made with an “expert.” Of course, I waited to send the heat pump back until after this service call, but who should it be but Gunner. Being naive, I didn’t take any pictures of proof but he spent 5-10 minutes on his phone supposedly initiating the return and refund and left with the heat pump. He told me we would have a refund in no more than 7 days. Gunner no more than left than I received a “sorry we missed you” notification from Sears Home Appliance. I thought this was very odd and concerning. After 10 days and still no refund I called customer service. They informed me that there was no receipt of Gunner being here or of the heat pump being returned. They were very helpful and were able to get us $381 of our $756 back. A very long story, but it’s been a very long saga and a very long almost 4 months with no dishwasher. If you do choose to use Sears Home Appliance be very careful of Gunner.

Absolutely frustrating company. Waited a week from diagnostic appointment until part came in (meanwhile our fridge doesn't work) and it's the wrong part, but they also cannot order the right part. They provided the "right" part number and I contacted the manufacturer. That wasn't even the right part number!! They still charged me the diagnostic fee with confirmation that I declined their quote but they literally did nothing for us. Also, there's no confirmation that I'm getting a refund and there are no live agents you can speak to so you get stuck in a hellish loop between the AI phone agent telling you to go to the website for an answer and the website telling you to call their AI phone rep. Absolutely will never use this company's services again and will not recommend.

My freezers ice cube machine still does not work. I thought in a few days it would. I have been away in Florida and came home to no ice. Still not fixed. The technician put in a new ice cube maker. He was very pleasant and nice.
