They were very rude. Walked in like gang busters. I was busy with employees and they kept interrupting me when I was talking to the others instead of waiting for me to finish my sentence and then answering them. They were very late in showing up. Probably no fault of theirs but by then I had other obligations to attend to that I had planned before they were held up on other jobs.

Service vs Cost? Sean and his service were great! He's knowledgeable, helpful, and quick. But the HomeServ/Sears office staff and SOFTWARE app need serious attention. My Xcel appliance service plan has been outsourced to HS/Sears but I continue to pay Xcel's plan. HS/Sear's repair prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Thank goodness my Xcel plan covers them, but I almost could have purchased a NEW fridge for the repair/replacement cost of a simple PLASTIC icemaker part! The U.S. economy is crazy.

Other than your service repair cost estimate being outrageous! $1,500 is far more than the fridge cost Brand New in 2015!! He was courteous to me over the phone, so just fine. He was a bit difficult to understand tho. Then $100 for his 10 minutes of work; I understand his drive to house and standard charge but feel like I threw away a $100.

The technician has been here at least five, yes 5!!, times and each time the cost was $600-850. Thankfully we had gotten the extended warranty. I don't think there is a part that hasn't been replaced and not sure that they all needed to be so. Yesterday we waited for the technician between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m and he was a no-show. No email or text, no phone call, nothing. We don't blame him as he said it wasn't on his work-order. Poor service and communication. Before we buy another appliance we'll check and see who is providing the repair work. Did we mention our refrigerator is less than 2 years old???

Due to the use of AI, I would rate the service a 0 if I could. The first 2 appointments scheduled for warranty work was rescheduled due to parts (ordered by Electrolux AI per the Technician), then the third appointment was cancelled "due to staffing shortage" s couple hours into the day scheduled for repair (also AI generated). I received an AI generated text to reschedule 2 weeks or more later. I tried calling Sears to get an earlier appointment, but the number for service said a live operator was not available for that number. The dryer is 3 months old, so Home Depot agreed to issue a full refund and pick up the appliance. A new machine order was placed and delivery scheduled. Then, the Sears Technician called the day after the appintment and said they were on the way to our home yesterday and we disappeared from the schedule. I notified them the the machine is being returned, so no need for the work. They still were required to drive 2 hours to our home just to close out the Electrolux ticket. Waste of his time and money. Had a real person been able to answer the call and coordinated the repair, the machine wouldn't have been returned and the technician wouldn't have wasted 4 hours driving. AI may save some initial cost by having less employees, it will end up costing more in the long run.

This was LG warranty coverage. Sears service is terrible. It took about 10 days for them to come to my house. I tried contacting them a dozen times to move the appointment earlier but couldn't get a response other than "go online" which only had later appointments, not earlier. The day of service, I received notification that they had to push it back (after already having taken off of work since they won't give an appointment time but say anytime between 8am-5pm. When Frank came out he was only there to give an estimate (he did his job correctly, Sears does not plan properly). I had already provided the problem (internal microwave light doesn't work) and the model number and everything needed...they should have shown up with the proper parts, ready to make the repair...not wasting 10 days to spend 5min collecting the information I already provided. Then it took another week or so for the part to be ordered and installed. Taking close to a month and having to take 3 days off of work for Sears lack of scheduling is pathetic business practice...not only for the customer, but what an inefficient waste of money on their end to make multiple house calls. ...of course they just push that price onto the customer - $243.16 to replace the light in the microwave.
