I've never liked Sears Repair since they screwed my mom on a repair they did for her when I was a kid, so I've basically boycotted Sears ever since. But they were the only ones open on Saturday when our freezer decided to not freeze anymore. I called and got a foreign call center rep who said that the soonest appointment they had was Monday. But this isn't a Monday problem, this is a today problem. If I have to wait until Monday then I'm going to just call a local place on Monday. So that's what I did and good riddance.

The tech is good and the rest of my experience was a nightmare. Called about my dishwasher in early Jan. Hopefully it is now fixed and it is June. 6 months later. Would make appts and Sears cancelled them. Parts were ordered and than cancelled. Parts ordered three times and were expedited three times and than cancelled. Twice I was told parts are no longer made so I will get a new dishwasher. That never happened Called every two weeks to the service number and could get no answers. I paid for the protection plan. Believe I need to be reimbursed for 6 months of no service. Also put in for protection plan reimbursement when your appliance is not fixed within a month. Was told I didn't qualify because my dishwasher was fixed. Yet I am still washing dishes by hand. Needless to say I am not happy and want to talk to a real person that has a phone number that isn't connected to a phone tree and speaks english.

Peter did an excellent review of my leaking refrigerator. I understand he had to charge me for the call. BUT TO CHARGE ME A RIDICULOUS PRICE TO FIX IT...SHAME ON YOU ! I do believe when something of this cost and only purchased 8 months ago. Your company should guarantee and stand behind your product.. Thank God for AMAZON, to handle the problem correctly. Replacement fridge on its way and it not from your company.. I shall never buy from you again. I will also spread the word to every person I know how horrible you treat your customers and do not stand behind your product. Its a shame a company such as yours, thats has been around and a house hold name for years will not stand behind what they sell. sincerely, Julie Glenn
