Friendly enough. But should have actually pulled dishwasher out from the wall to find the problem. Problem not solved or discovered by the tech and that’s what I thought I was paying for.

The sears technician never showed up. He filled out and signed the paperwork himself, making it look like the job was completed.

Dishwasher went out. Set an appointment, got a response the next day saying they weren't available. Rescheduled for today. Same thing. Can't talk to a real person, I think this is Fraud! If they say the technician is available twice in a row and twice they then say they are not, that is poor business practice! I see that I am not the only person who has had this experience! Sears is so automated now you cannot even speak to a real person about this! Stay AWAY!!!

I can’t comment on the quality of repair service, only the process of booking and attempting to get my appliance serviced. My oven went out on Sunday 3/30. I used the online booking service to select an available repair date of the following Saturday 4/5. You are provided with a window of 8am-5pm. My appointment was confirmed via text after booking. I was texted during that week twice by “Richard” the Sears “virtual AI assistant” asking if I would like to move my appointment up to earlier in the week. Due to having to bring my children to/from school and activities throughout the week, I was unable to commit to an 8am-5pm window during the week and opted to stick with the Saturday date I booked. Saturday rolls around and I make no plans, to keep the long 8am-5pm window available as I had already been without both of my ovens for a week and didn’t want to miss the technician. I received daily emails from Sears trying to sign me up for a credit card and their home warranty throughout the week to “help offset cost of repairs” for my upcoming appointment. None of which I elected to sign up for luckily. I also received a call from an actual representative asking me about my appointment as a front, then launching into a sales pitch for their home warranty. I was told I would receive a call the morning of the appointment from my technician with an ETA. No call received. At 2:15pm I received a text from “Richard” that due to unforeseen circumstances my appointment was cancelled. I was given several new options to reschedule and though irritated I didn’t even receive a call and was only informed after my entire day was spent at home waiting, I promptly chose an option a moment later. Was then told that date was no longer available (within two minutes of it being offered). So I chose another option, Wednesday 4/9. Again with an 8am-5pm window. Here I am today, no call in the morning yet texts and emails still coming reminding me of my appointment. I was able to be at home due to it being my children’s spring break. 3:35pm…a text stating my appointment has been cancelled and they took the liberty to reschedule me on a date I did not choose. I don’t know what kind of business can possibly succeed when you are completely unable to reach a person to speak to. Everything is automated, which is fine if it works. It seems to me that Sears will go ahead and book/cancel/reschedule appointments willy nilly until finally a technician picks up the job or they have an actual real opening. Really shady to threaten to charge the customer if they cancel within 24 hours yet cancel your appointment at the tail end of a 9 hour window after you’ve kept your day open and waiting.
