Scott arrived on time after calling me when en route. He identified the issue relatively quickly, or at least, his guess is as good as mine, and the bottom line remains the same. For a service call to just have it confirmed that the appliance is pretty much shot I found it rather costly. Especially since not a single screw or bolt was turned and no fancy diagnostic tool applied.

Sears scheduling did a very poor job. I change the date of the appointment and they never change it in the system.

Was told the issue ahead of time with model number, their AI system messed up my address with no way to correct it, then he came by just to say a 9 year old machine is too old to get parts for and charged $150.
