My repairman was courteous, informative, and efficient. I was his first customer and am glad of it - but did not receive a call in advance of his coming - which I was expecting - but not a significant problem. Perhaps I just missed the call.

Jeff didn't waste any time in the house. He always posted in the early morning when he would arrive and updated as necessary. He correctly estimated when the parts would arrive and when he would be back.

The repairman showed up the day I called, which was great; but then he scheduled the repair for 3 weeks later, which wasn't. Then the day before he was going to show, I get an email postponing it for another 2 weeks, which was just about the worst news I'd received since my mother died. Then two days before the new repair date, I get an email saying that he was coming in 2 days, but listing a date that was 2 weeks and 2 days later, so that was pretty confusing. And no way to call or email anyone to get any clarification. But he did eventually show up and perform the repair, and the machine is working now, which is good, considering how expensive the repair was. Is this system designed to make people want to buy a new washer the next time there's a breakdown?

We waited months for the part to come in- not the fault of the repairman. We had a scheduled appointment, waited all day and nobody came. Another appointment was scheduled for the next week. Later in the day after the repairman left I put in a load of laundry and realized that the lights on the dial were not all functioning. This is something that the repairman should have checked before leaving.

This is now the third time that I have had to pay deductable for the same problem. I really feel as if there should not be a deductable for that same issue! I was told by a tech that I would not pay a deductable if there was the same issue if they had to come back for the same issue within 6 months. What is the policy?? You replaced the relay board twice and the mother board twice. How long most this go on . I really would like to talk to someone about this issue. You have my number, call me! I can't speak to anyone if I call !!!!!!!

Richmond, VT3 techs, the first leaving with gas leaking
Since we had to have 3 techs out 3 times and the first obviously didn't check his work as the oven didn't work AND was leaking gas while we tried it. We needed to order parts. The guy left with the old parts which is suspect at best. Did he replace the parts. I marked them. Let's see if the tech did and does the right thing if he didn't !

Roger I provided excellent service. He was professional and seemed very knowledgeable. Roger took the brunt of the weight for Sears' unprofessional, unreliable and inconsiderate scheduling/cancelling/rescheduling with a smile. Appointment #1 (8-4) cancelled by Sears after 2:30. Appt #2 (was told 8:23am) cancelled by Sears at 11:30. Appt #3 Roger showed up and advised to try not use dryer until repaired. Parts ordered and appt #4 was scheduled 10 days out to allow for parts delivery. Appt #4 (8-4) no call/no show by Sears repair. 5 days later I contacted Sears to inquire as to why repairman did not come and why nobody called...I was told they cancelled the appt because they were waiting on parts (which were all delivered the week prior to the repair date). At what point did Sears plan on letting me know this? Had I not called Sears after the no call/no chow would we still be waiting for parts with no repair date on the books? Roger deserves a raise for having to carry the burden of his company's incompetence, and for being jerked around by Sears like a yoyo. He should find an employer whose service reputation can match his qualifications and professional attitude.

Tom actually did not come to my apartment
My repair appointment has been rescheduled for an earlier date which was great. However when Tom contacted me that he was on his way and confirmed the address, there was not an apartment listed. So he informed me he could not come because of that. When I asked why he could not just add the apartment to the address he became irate and told me if I was going to question him I should be careful as he was the only repair person for the area. When I called the Claims number I was told that the apartment number was on the claim and that they would contact me to see if it was possible to get another repair person. Finally the next day I received an email stating that the fridge had been deemed irreparable and I would receive a refund.
