Scott solved the issue. The child lock was on. Would have been nice to have known about the child lock before hand. Won't ever buy another front load whirlpool washer. I was told that the $139. Would go towards the repair if it was repaired. It cost almost $200. Just to hold a button to go for 3 seconds
