Was a total failure, got a text your next. Never showed up just like the last appliance they were to work on. Said couldn’t find our house! You have my number just call for clarification. Because of this repair service we’ve now gotten TWO replacement appliances from the manufacture because this service isn’t service. And to boot we got an invoice to pay!!!

This is probably the worst experience I have ever had with a repair service. The window of time for arrival between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm is ridiculous. The first technician berated the manufacturer of my refrigerator for having an outlet into which a diagnostic device can be attached to assess the issue. I was then told that he does not have the tool because his company was unwilling to pay a $40 per month fee. He had to guess at the parts needed and have them ordered. The parts were shipped to my house and a different technician arrived the following week. He was not aware that anyone had been there previously, what the problem was, or that I already had parts. He constantly complained about the design engineers of the product. He told me it was fixed. It was not. He then made an adjustment of some sort and asked me to check it again. This time it worked, but three hours later it was not working. I called the next morning and was scheduled for another service two weeks out. Ridiculous customer service!! If I could give them a zero ration I would,

If I could give less than a one I would. AI was terrible! It kept telling me that I could have an earlier appointment and when I would reply yes I want an earlier appointment then it would never respond back. The technician that was sent to me was terrible as well. He could not figure out what was wrong. He was mad that there was no test mode on the machine. He said all brands were junk and he was unable to fix my washer. He then sent in a diagnosis that my washer was unaccessible. Not true…it was very accessible. With a different company the second technician was very able to fix my washer.

I made an appointment a week in advance and they told me they would text the day before with a timeframe, as a reminder. They texted us the day before saying they would be there from 8am-5pm and that they would text us 30 min before the technician was on his way. Waited ALL day, I finally called around 4:15pm and the rep said she didn't have a technician scheduled to our home address and she could schedule me for the following week. NO THANKS!!!!!!!!!!! Just to speak with someone on the phone takes forever.

The tech was hour and half late did not call or text or anything. Did not introduce himself when he finally got to the house. Was rude. Came to repair a built in dishwasher that was not turning on. When he asked where the power was, we showed him the breaker box and he stated that he doesn’t do electrical. If it was my choice I would not have Sears back in my home again. A couple of days later I received an email about a form I signed. I never signed anything. I wasn’t shown anything to sign.

Worst ever! Got an automated message stating technician would be here between 7:30 and 8:30 am. Then got another message stating it would be between 8:30 and 9:05 am. At 2:30 pm an incredibly rude technician called stating he would not be coming because the repair order stated it was for a washer when it was actually for a dryer. All the paperwork and emails that I received prior stated dryer, nothing about a washer. Even had the model number and the exact issues listed with the dryer. He stated I would have to call assurant and resubmit the claim. When I called assurant they had received a document stating the tech reported that the dryer was inaccessible and that’s why he couldn’t repair. He blatantly lied to both me and assurant. He never came to my house. Worst experience ever and a waste of my entire day!

My review is of the service provided by SEARS Appliance Repair, not of Al the repairman. The repair was for a refrigerator bought through Best Buy. The Best Buy warranty used AIG insurance, who subbed out the repair to SEARS. SEARS canceled my first appointment with no warning, for what they said were "unforeseen circumstances" and then rescheduled it to a date they picked, with no input from me. I received daily automated reminders of the upcoming rescheduled repair for the whole week prior. Then on the day of the rescheduled repair (which was to be sometime between 8am-5pm), I get an automated message at 4:41pm saying the repair was again "canceled for unforeseen circumstance." The repair was re-rescheduled yet again for a week later. I get no further reminders of the new re-rescheduled repair appointment. In the meantime, I asked Best Buy to hire a local repair company instead. I thought the re-rescheduled repair had now been canceled with SEARS. But then at 7am this morning I get an email saying the repairman would at my home between 9-10am today. I then tried to cancel the supposed repair appointment, but the SEARS website said I could only cancel it through the insurance company. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Not a single actual person could be reached at SEARS about the repair; they were fully automated by phone, text and email. Even the texts I got from SEARS were AI generated. SEARS canceled, multiple times, with no explanation, and then wouldn't even let me cancel the final appointment that should not have been happening anyway. Do NOT use SEARS for appliance repairs!
