Would be 5 star if the appt window would be better 8-5pm asmaller, it only got pin pointed when tech would be there

The initial experience with Sears Appliances was not great, canceled our appointments twice a couple hours into our 8 hour window, so we waited over two weeks to have dryer fixed. However, our second technician which installed a new dryer motor and cleaned it thoroughly was fantastic! Polite, timely and very nice.

Two men showed up to add parts to our washing machine. They took the washing machine apart and found out that one of the bolts would not come loose. Told me I needed a new washer. We talked about Sears ordering one for me or me buying one and sears would send me a check. They said they had to go out outside to talk. Next thing I know they both were gone. No expectation on what was going on. They did not clean up after themselves there was water and grease left on the floor. I called the call center and explained the above to her, I ask the lady what was going to happen with my washing machine. She said someone would get back with me Monday. Someone should have given me details on what was going on. They should after cleaned up before they left.

It took a little over 2 weeks to get our dishwasher repaired. Sears had to reschedule/ cancel appts at least 4x due to a staffing shortage. That was really frustrating. When the repair did take place, Walter did a wonderful job fixing our dishwasher! He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.
