The process for making the appt, staying informed of arrival status and payment was seamless … the technician was knowledgeable but tried to talk me out of service from the first contact before he even arrived … although he diagnosed thoroughly, he was negative the entire time … almost gave me the impression that he didn’t want to assist and “shucks, well don’t know what to tell ya’ but you need a new appliance… sorry can’t help ya” [my words not his - but that’s what it felt like] … I would definitely try Sears Repair again … but I would cross my fingers and hope I didn’t get the same technician …

Been to my house 4 times now, item is still not fixed and there is no one that seems willing to actually get this problem resolved.

Needed washer repaired due to error code F6 E3. A google search says it’s the control board. Wanted a tech to come out and repair the washer. I put in the notes the error code. The tech arrived and looked at the washer and said the control board was out and he didn’t have the part to repair it. He didn’t even touch the washer. I had already taken the top off. He diagnosed it in 2 seconds. He said it would be $769 to get the part and make the repair. THE WASHER DOESN'T EVEN COST THAT MUCH. I had to spend 128$ for them to come out and do absolutely nothing. What a waste of money it feels like a scam.

Richard “Rick” from Sears Repairs never showed up, but they billed the warranty company because I received an email with the invoice. This place is committing fraud against the warranty service. Update: I called the phone number in the response, but just like all their phone numbers, you can’t talk to a person.
