Five stars for the friendliness of the technician, but a zero due to him forgetting to reconnect the water hose on my washer and not coming back. Also, can’t get through to the service department to get this fixed.

I trusted sears my whole life. This was the worst service ever. I was abused, ripped off & cheated. I will never use Sears ever again.

Here we go AGAIN! Sears / A & E are a TERRIBLE WASTE of time and money! At my FIRST appointment (for this dilemma), Herman diagnosed that I needed a fuse for my dryer. Something that he did not carry in his repair van. REALLY? When I called to make the appointment, I told them what was wrong. One would think that a dinky little fuse would be something he could make room in his vehicle for, as a possible source of the problem. He said he needed to order the part. At that time, we scheduled an appointment for him to return TWO WEEKS later (09/18) to install the fuse. I moved my schedule around and took the day-off from work, just to get my dryer working again. He said he was coming from Austin and would be @ my house between 9 - 10 am. At noon, my husband called Sears. They said that the fuse had NOT even been ordered!!!!!!! And that I am to call when the part is delivered to my house (Something else Herman never informed me of.) This is NOT the first time we’ve had problems with these people! It took 6-MONTHS to get my dishwasher repaired and then ultimately replaced, because they couldn’t fix it. Only, they sent the wrong color; and I got STUCK with it! Siting that I should not have accepted the crated package if it was the wrong color. (Mind you…there was no color label on the crate or manifest, the delivery company would not wait for me to open the crate and check, nor would they take back an opened crate. =\ ) We are VERY DISAPPOINTED in Sears Home Warranty Services and A & E Repair. Because at this point, I have NO idea what the status is of my repair… SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE, TIME, and MONEY…hire ANOTHER home warranty company and/or repair service!
