No repair needed.Someone had mistakenly set a delayed start of 9 hours. Tech just educated us. I had never used that feature. I expected a charge of $129 for diagnosing the problem. I was charged $193.77, though no labor or parts were needed. He was pleasant, but I feel I was overcharged.

My repairman was a great guy, got my dishwasher up and going, polite and professional. Sears home services is a joke. You simply can not talk to a human being. I had an appointment and was to set aside the time slot of 7am to 6pm, pretty good window to hang around waiting. Long story short, no one came. I can work around that if I could've spoken to a human and gotten an explanation and rescheduled.

Gary did not do anything but look at the water filter and then told me that his estimate would be approximately 1400 USD. Then he attempted to sell me a service policy. He then required payment. I wrote a check for $137.71 he refused to give me a receipt. He told me I would receive a receipt by email. That never happened. When I tried to contact Sears home service this morning there was no path to get my receipt. Pitiful service.

DO NOT USE Sears Home Services! They failed to repair my appliance then caused more damage to it. Made me pay up front for parts & service but have refused to refund my money. It has been 4 months and I am still trying to get my non-repair refunded. (Refund is through a foreign calling center and not through Jasper, Tx)

The washing machine is on the porch under a cover so he said it isn’t covered by the warranty and left without even looking at it without a charge so he was going to close out his ticket and leave. We would have to turn in a separate non warranty repair request. I suppose that’s the way it is but I didn’t know that when I got the Lowe’s Protection plan.
