I was happy to see that Sears has moved to this type of business model. It makes a lot more sense. Another surprise was to find them in a smaller town, again a solid business plan. We stopped in to see what they had to offer and found the prices were good compared to other competitors.

Absolutely zero stars!! If negative stars were possible that is what I would be giving. Communication is all AI but with names so almost like not human. I requested that the service tech call and the AI aka “Samantha “ indicated that would be done. I asked for a window of time and was sent a picture with the time, then about an hour before the start time, i get another message with the tech picture adjusting the service time except it was past the start time. I never got a call & I watched on my Ring camera as the tech walked up to my door pulled his phone & then I listened to him call his friend. There was no attempt to call me. Then he left. I was supposed to get service through American Home Shield. AHS called Sears & the tech was supposed to come out even though he closed the ticket. Without even looking at my washer. BEWARE they are awful. I will be finding someone at the main office in San Antonio to make my complaint known. Very Bold of Sears to ask for a review and it forced me to leave 1 star to leave a review. Kind of insulting considering their lack of service pics for all the different times I was given & the text about 8:00am-12pm was received @ 3:17 in the afternoon. None of the times matched

Called once, I missed the call. Send a text; doesn’t reply to text messages & has no follow-up. Spent a whole day with no communication whatsoever & waiting & no one showed up. Very unprofessional!!!! Whom ever is Dquarius has horrible work ethic!!!

This was the most useless technician I have ever had the displeasure to have. When he saw the kind of washer we had, he proceeded to say that the brand of our washer, a Samsung, was the worst kind of washer to get. He then asked what is wrong with the washer which we went over all the issues again and codes that were displayed. He asked if we knew what the codes meant, he then proceeded to look it up on his phone.( this is something every good tech should be well versed in) He then went on to ask if WE had the parts for the repair, which nothing was ever sent to our residence. When making the ticket the person I spoke to said the parts ordered would be received by the technician and he would come out with the parts for repair. Additionally, I had many calls to customer service to troubleshoot the problem and that should have been forwarded to the technician. When we let him know we did not receive any parts, he looked into where they were sent he said they were mailed to Texas USA. What the heck!!!??? He then came to the conclusion that no water was coming through the line. He then proceeded to leave. I then checked our water line, there was plenty of water coming through the connection to the washer. I can only conclude that this guy maybe turned off the water when he tested it.

Initially I contacted Sears because my oven was making a buzzing sound and then losing heat. The technician said it was a bad relay. He replaced it and they charged me $415. Afterwards, my oven was still making the same sound and losing heat. I called Sears back, and they told me if it was still the same problem, they wouldn't charge me anything because my oven was still under warranty. But if I declined to have the second tech fix the repair, I would be charged $128. The second technician came and said it was the motherboard that was bad. Even though my oven was still having the same problem, Sears claimed it was a new repair, according to the second technician. They were going to charge me close to $500 for the second service call to repair the motherboard. In reality, the first technician misdiagnosed the problem to begin with. They charged me $128 for the second service call, since I declined on getting the expensive motherboard repair. I should have gotten my oven fixed the first time, if they had qualified repairmen doing the work. I should not have to pay almost $1000, when it could have been taken care of the first time. And I should be reimbursed for the $128, AND they should have fixed the problem the second time for no charge. I will not be using their services again!
