Was completely unhelpful
The report sent to our home warranty led to confusion and extra charges to us. We walked away with conflicting information with what the technician told us over the phone and what was submitted to our warranty. I also hated that it was nearly impossible to talk to a human prior to the service call, we kept getting sent to an AI to discuss.

Extremely Bad Service
After 9 weeks I said enough is enough! Refrigerator never got repaired. Each technician that came to our home diagnosed a different problem. Our refrigerator was just over 1 year old. After giving Sears a total of $900.00 + I stopped the service. I was told by the technician that we would be refunded. Never got the refund; even saw him input on his handheld device after he talked to someone on the phone. About 9 days later I tried calling Sears and the Rep. in the Philippines said she did not see a refund but would document it and we would get a reply. Do not use Sears Home Repair Service. Great at taking money, extremely bad repair service. Sorry I gave them 1 star review, but system would not take my comments above unless I gave them at least 1 star.

horrible experience
your employee introduced himself and I could not understand what he was saying due to heavy accent. when I asked him to repeat himself, he yelled his name out so loud I had to shush him because my family was still asleep. I asked him if he had a problem with me because if he did he needed to go. He proceeded to take a photo of the model number, never asking me what the problem was or potential cause then he said the unit was too old. I asked him to put all his tools at the door and to wait for me at the front door. He would not. Instead he said he was not moving until I paid him. I Told him if he didn't leave my property, because I thought Sears would bill me directly, that I would call the police. He said "do it". So I picked up the phone and asked him to move to the front door. At this point I didn't trust him and I needed to go to another room to get my check book. I had to leave him in my kitchen alone while I went outside and I felt very threatened. Then it took him another 5 minutes to bill me. I asked him again to please move to the front door and he shouted "when I vet paid". I had already written him a check. This man needs to be fired, and not reprimanded. He showed violent tendencies. I did call the police after I asked him the third time to move his tools and himself to the front area. When he heard me calling, he left.

ge washer is not working
I have been waiting on parts for 3 weeks. the third part came. thursday. they tech came yesterday. my washer is still not fix. it is not locking. wash is not spinning yesterday the water is still in the machine.

Micah replaced the part
Sears customer service has been the worst experience I've ever had. I would never recommend this company and despise the fact that my insurance company selected you all to repair my freezer. Every technician, especially the first technician that came out, has been a complete waste of my time and energy. Micah was the only one that actually came out and was respectful. From missed appointments, to no shows, to reschedule's, to ordering the wrong parts, to blaming my insurance company on your technician shortcomings... This is absolutely a joke of a company. Chris Dunn never responded to a single message I left and when you call customer support there's no way to reach a live person. I truly hope this company goes out of business because y'all are trash.

small leak made much worse, then ball dropped
Although Tony was affable, I thought his solution was not adequate to the problem when he explained what he thought was the issue to me, (the window seal on the washer door needed cleaning to fully close the door). I said I thought the main gasket around the washer opening was at fault and he disagreed,. When I ran a load of laundry immediately after his service, the very small drizzle of a leak that I had called about became a big leak that soaked my wood floor and under my washer, When I called immediately (1:40 pm) to ask him to come back, he said the claim was closed and I had to file another claim for him to return. I checked online and the claim was open, so I called Choice Home Warranty. They confirmed it was still open and told me I had to call the technician. I called (no answer) and texted Tony at 2:40 to ask him to come back. I still have had no response. I sincerely hope he will return in the am to follow through on this problem, but I am dismayed at how much time I had to spend checking online, calling Choice, trying to reach Tony, etc., to try to get fast resolution. It puts Choice, Sears, and their subcontractor, A&E, in a poor light.

Appointment Disappointment
Steve was great, when he got there. The problem was that, at 7:30am that morning, I had an email that said Steve would be there at 9:37am; around 7:50am, it said 9:51am. When I check around 9am, it just said 8am-5pm with no indication who would be coming. I thought for sure he had been delayed, but was still coming. So I didn't feel comfortable leaving for any of my errands as I couldn't guarantee I would be back to meet him even with 20-30 minutes lead time. Finally, at 2:30, Steve called and said he would be there between 4-6pm. According to him, I was on his route and then I wasn't, leading him to believe that I had been assigned to a different technician. Then I appeared on his route again. I don't appreciate being held hostage for an entire day and was very disappointed in the whole process. Sears, you can do better!!!

Refrigerator is worse condition after repair
My GE refrigerator was running but was not getting cold. When Timothy left, the refrigerator will not turn on at all. His diagnosis was that my evaporator was bad and the part is discontinued. His written estimate showed additional parts that were not causing problems. It would be most appreciated to have Sears Home Services or the contractor appliance company put my refrigerator in the condition they found it. I have used Sears Home Services several times before this but this is the first bad experience I have had.
