The diagnostic tech was courteous and efficient. He gave me a quote and told me the repair would be completed Friday morning (02/28/25) between 7:30 am and noon if the parts were available which they were. He received payment before leaving. I was instructed to unplug the refrigerator early Thursday morning to defrost. All of the parts were received by Thursday. Then the AI repair Informrd me Friday morning that my repair had been schedule for 03/06/25 which was unacceptable. I had been waiting Friday morning for the schrduled repair to be completed. After much aggrivation trying to navigate the automated phone system I called the parts department and got transferred to a human being. They sympathized with my problem and got a tech rescheduled for Friday. After sitting at home all day waiting for the tech to show up I was notified it would be sometime between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm the following day. The tech showed up at 9:00 am. He was courteous, quick and professional. Both the diagnostic and repair techs were great. I can't say the same for the phone systsm or Robert the AI repairman. Better options need to be added to the automated system to get to a person. And in the business world appointments need to be kept. Also, there needs to be a way for the onsite person to email/text credit card receipts. In years past, when Sears stores were around I did a lot of business with them. All of my appliances were Kenmore. Craftsman tools and yard equipment. That is why I chose Sears in home repair service. (I do miss the local stores)

The Technician was professional and courteous. He came back after I fell asleep on his first call. I call him and explained I had fallen asleep and didn’t hear him at my door. I saw him on my video and called and explained my case, he was in another job but came back and fixed my dryer in a short time.I couldn’t ask for better service. Thank you .

Technician was “on time,” polite and personable. With that being said I think Sears Repair could give a better arrival time frame than 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Perhaps 7-12 or 1-6 ??? 😊
