Sears came back and repaired the AC. The system is cooling at this time. The Tech was very patient. It was a long journey, and I'm so glad to finally put this behind me. Prior: I had an appointment with Sears today to repair AC after the diagnostic tech stated that the covered part would have to be ordered. I was provided the labor cost. A new appointment, 3 weeks out, was set for today 7/9/25. Well, I waited all day and no Tech showed. Around 4:45pm, he called and told me Sears should have contacted me concerning trouble with the warranty on the part. No one said anything about this until now. Then he went on about I should have requested a 5 year extension. But the 10-year warranty has not expired, I explained. I asked him to provide his manager's number for clarification. He said this would cause him his job. I did not want this to happen. He seemed to be such a nice person. However, my AC is not repaired and the person the Tech said would call ( Mr. Williams) has not called. I haven't seen anybody from Sears today. But, I received a bill for our incomplete telephone conversation. I expected much more and am extremely dissatisfied.
