Unfortunately, the estimated repair cost for my 20-year old stove was about 40% of the price for a new stove. While this estimated cost may have been realistic, it did not make sense to proceed with this repair. I opted instead to replace the stove with a new unit.

He was more interested in receiving the 65 dollars than repairing the AC. He did nt repair the AC. After he left, I turned on the Ac and it was still leaking.

Our ice maker hasn’t worked for months. Had already spent $700+ on previous repair/replacement. Never worked and we were not able to track down and get any response from repair man/company. So we decided to call Sears repair. Reputable… known. This gentleman showed up and ran all his diagnostics on the fridge. We explained the previous issues and work done. He declared there was nothing wrong with anything, all checked out good. . Spent 15 minutes in explaining about vacuuming coils and fan in the back of fridge. Which we do but not often enough he says. We had turned ice machine off weeks ago since it never worked. He pointed out it was off like that’s the issue…. Said we should have ice soon, every 90 minutes. $175 later… my husband and I did our vacuuming and cleaning. And still no ice. So our new refrigerator is being delivered tomorrow.
