Terrible customer service!!! Took 3 appointments to finally have some one fix the issue. 2 times they were a no show . Yesterday the automated system text me the ETA was 836 am.the appointment said between 810 and 940. He actually finally showed up at 440. I'm just glad it's done. The tech was nice. He said I was scheduled as his LAST appointment.impossible to actually talk to a person.very frustrating!!!

Buyer be ware. You can NEVER get a live representative EVER!!!!!! All communications are AI. After making my appointment I got a conformation Email stating it was a different day That I had not agreed to, when I was not going to be home. I canceled three times. I got another company. After I canceled The guy showed up anyway. I told him to leave as my repair was already complete.

You accepted the repair on nov 23 and finally corrected the issue on Dec 14. The first attempt you all said we weren't home. Wrong we were home all day and never received a call. If you were here you went to wrong address. After you scheduled four different repair dates and cancelled them all mid day of all four. When you finally got a tech here he replaced the heating element. He tested it for 2 minutes and it did heat up. Problem the dryer trips the breaker after 5 minutes. Defective part. Not happy.

Sears Home Services may have once been a trusted name in appliance repair. My elderly mother called what she thought was that trusted name in repair. They came out to diagnose a faulty drain pump on her washing machine. On November 21 2025, without the part or service they charged $515.86. Over the course of the next two weeks, they cancelled on her three times. One of those times, I can almost understand because the part had not arrived. But the other two times are inexcusable. At one point, a technician did come out, but he quickly left because (as he said) he didn't have the right tools and he didn't know it was a front load washer. I find that hard to believe since it's on the original work request. He left and never came back, nor did he call my mother to let her know what was going on. My mother needed her washing machine. She cannot use other washing machines because the residue from soaps in them causes severe skin allergies. After the third cancellation, I changed the part out myself. I did in two and half hours what Sears Home Services couldn't do in two weeks. We want, minimum, for the labor costs of $378.58 to be refunded. We are more than willing to pay for the part, even though we know they put a 150% mark up on the part (we checked with their part distributer). Their website says they offer expert and professional services. Cancelling on people repeatedly is not professional service. Sending out a technician without the proper tools and knowhow is not expert. Their appointment texting bot says they value the time of their customers. It doesn't seem like they do. Taking money from elderly people without providing service is not professional... It is criminal. We expect the labor costs of $378.58 to be refunded immediately. The problem with that is that there seems to be no e-mails that go to a human being. Their phone numbers go nowhere. It's impossible to talk to a human being. It seems like a scam to me. Update: Notice the cookie cutter response from Sears Home Services. I called the very number given. There is no option to speak to a customer service representative. They have my mother's last name and the service request date. They can easily figure out who she is from this review, call her and offer her a refund of the labor charges. However, I suspect they won't, but will keep the money instead. Update: It is now Jan 13 2026, a new year. Sear Home Services has made no attemp to contact my mother by phone, by voice to arrange completion of service or to offer her money back. They are using automated messages to avoid talking to her and returning her money. They are stealing from my elderly mother! The owners of this company should be in jail!

My washer does not unlock even when I turn it off. Service repair man said it would unlock if I turned it off and wait 2 minutes. This did not happen. Now I cannot stop it at all, it locks up I’m not satisfied with this service at all
