We had Sears Home Services come out 2 times to repair a Samsung Flex Washer -- the first service said we needed a Lid Switch at a cost of $800. The second visit said we needed a top tub at a cost of $900. After doing some investigation we found the Lid Switch has good. As for the second visit we found that the Lid Cover Handle was bad and we replaced it for $20. Sears Home Services is a scam and they are overcharging their customers. We have attempted to contact Sears Home Services several times to request a refund of our $259 charges; however, we get no answer from them. Does anyone know of a way to reach someone at Sears Homes Services?

Every time you have a problem, they drag it out forever. They’ve rescheduled twice so far on my dishwasher repair ( that they have repaired at least 3 times already). Called on the Mar 25, cancelled twice now and rescheduled for July 1st. Fingers crossed

Choice Home Warranty assigned my AC repair to Sears Home Services. In South Carolina, AC is everything. On 5/6 my AC went out. Sears scheduled me for the repair on the 9th. After my fiancé stayed at my house all day waiting only for the technician to cancel last minute and reschedule me for today. So my fiancé stayed home all day again today in the humid Charleston heat, only for Sears to cancel AGAIN! They offered to reschedule again for 5/17, a Saturday. What were the chances they’d show up on a Saturday? 92 degrees with 90% humidity by the 16th. And we were expected to wait all day again only for them to cancel again? No. We called Choice Home Warranty and had the repair scheduled with ANYONE else. I cannot recommend enough to seek a different HVAC repair company.

Horrible . I had an appointment set for yesterday and nobody ever showed up. They sent out a message stating that they wouldn’t come to fix the washer due to unseen circumstances, so I rescheduled for today and they resent me the same message again.

In mid January of 2025 we signed up for a service plan to repair our dryer. A technician was sent out within a week to find out the problem, the parts were ordered, and we paid the estimated fee. The part was ordered 2 additional times because it was returned to sender because my name and address was incorrect despite my calls to sears each time after I received alerts that the address and my name was wrong. Each time they assured me they fixed the address and name. Finally they decided to cancel that order and send another technician in to look at the dryer again because they didn't know the error code from the first technician. Thank God it was the same man that came out and he had a part on his truck that worked And fixed it at the end of February 2025. Stay away. Too many issues even when I called to cancel the plan I was bombarded with questions about why.

WORTHLESS!!! Tech was scheduled repair AC. Tech was no call/no show. NO RESPONSE TO CALLS AND TEXTS. I then received three bills for the “work” that was done. Tried to go to the location in person, but the location was a bowling alley. On my third phone call to have this resolved. Never again.

I would give 0 stars if I could with my experience with this company. Work order put in with American Homeshield on 09 Nov. They text that next day for the model number of the stove, and we have it to the tech. (The outer glass on the oven shattered, so we needed it to be replaced.) The tech. Orders the part to our house and we let him know when we got it, which was within a week. He still can't come out to replace the glass until 02 December..... really fit glass replacement? 02 Dec comes.... no show, tech doesn't show up to work. Rescheduled for 04 December from 12-5pm. We get another cancelation, evidently overbooked. How is this our fault and we are the ones that keep getting pushed off? We are taking time from our lives and work to be there for these appointments. We'll be rescheduled again for the 6th of Dec. So I call the company about the tech not coming out 2 times, because I'm annoyed at this point. I then call American homeshield, and tell them the situation. They speak to the supervisor, he says it won't haworth again. Friday.... I had afeeling something was off, so I call the company, they say in not on the books for Friday, so I relay the to American Homeshield. They, again, talk to the supervisor. And was told they will be out that night.... 6pm hits, and again no show. Back to American Homeshield, they talk to the supervisor, yet again, and they state that I was scheduled for 06 Jan, 2025. This is total and utter BS. Almost 2 months to replace the outer glass on my oven.... I don't want them touching anything I own at this point. Complaint made to American Homeshield, and elevated.

If I could give a 0 I would. Tech was to come out and fix washer being unbalanced and not draining properly. Cleaned a hose and left. Now what I have to wait another 3 weeks for someone to come out and pay yet again

The worst, they were contracted through my home warranty company to fix my refrigerator that is leaking. They were scheduled to come two days from the request so I took off work. A hour or so before they were supposed to come I got a text saying they were rescheduling for two weeks from then. The fridge it leaking but still working, not ideal but fine. Today they were supposed to come at 1:00 so my wife took off work this time. At 11:00 I get a text that they are rescheduling until tomorrow. People work and have lives, I’ve now lost two days of work and still have a leaking fridge. These people don’t respect your time. I decided to call my warranty company and had them send me to another place. Oh and it you want to actually talk to them it’s impossible you’ll get an automated phone system with no way of talking a real human. Don’t waste your time because they’ll have no problem wasting it for you.

The original service call was made on January 23 two weeks out with a four hour window 15 minutes before the end of my window. I get a text saying I was rescheduled for another two weeks out the original call had two separate AC units for one home when the technician finally did come he only looked at one and said it needed part And it was a Saturday he said he be back Monday. I get a text on Monday with a date that was 14 days out then when I tried to call my Home Warenty to get another company with a sooner appointment, this technician took a part of my AC unit with him And then I was told if I got another AC company I would be charged $60 for nothing. I called another unit. I called another AC company for the unit that my technician did not look at he came out in two days and it’s fixed. I’m still waiting for a technician to come to my house and fix my AC unit From July 23 so I can give the zero it would’ve been zero but one was the lowest score
