Called technician for install. They were rude and denying service. The technician proceeded to charge additional for no work to be done. For context the part we ordered through sears said it was on the way then lied that it was available that’s fine not technicians fault I handled getting our own part after market sense it is no longer in production. We communicated with sears the nature of our own part proceeded to send someone anyway and overcharged for “labor” on top of service after speaking. Was very vindictive when asking about issue and overall has been a terrible experience. Installed part for 80 dollars instead of 200. Thanks would not choose sears

Technician DID not call before coming. Was told the he/she would. Technician did not follow instructions about when I would be available even after supposedly called directly from Sears. Order was closed making me have to completely begin the whole process again. Sears already cancelled mid-day the day before when originally scheduled to come. Customer service somewhat tries to help but keeps sending me to other representatives even though each one reads a statement that I had reached the correct place. Obviously I had not!

I came across their advertisements online which marketed them as an appliance maintaining and cleaning service however that is far from reality. We originally had asked for washer dryer and dishwasher service and all the technician did was dropped in some chemicals and ran the rinse cycle for all the appliances. When my confronted the technician, he said that that’s what he is trained to do. He was gone in 20 min and charged us with $250. Total waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Waived diagnostic fee means nothing when a belt replacement is 300 dollars up. 299 labor fee for a dryer belt. Insane pricing

Sears technician was excellent, however, Sears as a company is awful to deal with. A month ago they charged us hundreds of dollars for parts and never sent a receipt. We need that receipt for reimbursement. We've called three times for it, and every time been told it would arrive in 48 hours, and it's never come. Cannot do business with a company that won't provide customer service or receipts Edited: I appreciate the response and called the number below and was given the same answer, 48 hour wait time for a receipt that hasn't come the last four times we've requested one so I'm skeptical it'll come this time. Tried to escalate to a supervisor and the wait time was five hours. It is ridiculous that I can't get a receipt for services parts purchased from a national organization, for a large purchase. There's nothing anyone at Sears can do. Shop local because if you have problems this company won't help

I told sears on the phone and online the washer did not power on . I gave the serial and model number prior to the tech coming. He plugs it in and says your right it doesn't power on. That will cost you an additional $475 to fix. outrageous. Why couldn't this be done over the phone. I was livid I had to pay $119 for him to tell me that and didn't even take any of it apart. Completely crazy. very disappointed. WE expected for the tech to take it apart and look at it.

My technician was great. I have no complaints about him. He did an awesome job. He first showed up April 26th. He ordered my parts right away and scheduled me for The repair. But Sears never ordered my part. I contacted them a month later and they still had not gotten my part. They said I would get an email regarding my part in 2 days. I never heard anything so I contacted my home warranty who hired them and I got a text from sears the next day saying the repair will be in a week the Technician showed up, who was great no complaints about the technician, this is Sears fault. He showed up and sears ordered the worng part for my ac unit. So he ordered the part AGAIN and put me down in another 2 weeks JUNE 27TH and now it's fixed. 2 months after the tech showed up the first time April 26th to June 27th 2 months in the summer UNACCEPTABLE!! The technician apologized but it's not his fault I hope a more competent home repair hires him. He's great.

Frauds. Paid over $400 to fix my dryer and when they installed the new parts it didn’t fix it and when the tech left we had the same issue that I called them for. He then determines it was a cracked drum, something He would’ve saw before ordering and installing the parts. Tech said they would credit our bill but I can’t get any response from them about my refund. They keep giving us the run around and won’t respond now. Avoid them.
