The issue with the digital display for the range was resolved. That was nice. The extra repair person was strange. Two people for such a small job and the person not being listed for the appointment wasn't ideal. The other technician never introduced his self and had no identification on. The actual repair was done in a timely manner. The real issue was after they left. The stove top was misaligned and screws weren't properly installed. The stove top actually slid off as I moved the range back to its hole. I had to remove screws and realign it myself and realized that the exhaust vent and fan shroud was also forced out of alignment. I had to realign all of these components before the stove top would go into its proper position. That's when the screws would finally go in and not allow the top to move about. I finished sliding the range into its spot and found a screw on the floor that was from the installation of the digital display as that screw was silver and everything from the rear of the stovetop was black. I think one technician would've been better for this job as they would've had more attention to detail. I'm just grateful that the military trained me to be a technician so I didn't have to wait for someone to return to fix the issues from after the repair.

We have been without our gas range for weeks. The first technician that came out had to order two valve stems, four should have been ordered since those knobs were nearly impossible to turn on and off. The last technician replaced the two valve stems and stated he found a leak in another burner and fixed it. It was not fixed. I had to call New Leaf to schedule another appointment because we could still smell gas. We had an appointment scheduled for 02/24/2026. I received an email this morning stating the appointment had been canceled. We had our gas company come out today and the technician determined t the middle valve is still leaking. I expect someone to come tomorrow and take care of this problem.

Very disappointed

I am very disappointed with my service today with the service tech that came today he actually did nothing. He only put was a zip tie onto the hose at the back of the washing machine & claimed that was the problem I was having as I stated when I made the call for service, my washing machine is not working properly. He literally didn't take the time to do a complete overall check up the on system to make sure is functioning properly which is why he couldn't find what the problem could've been He asked me was there a code at the time the problem happen? I said yes I don't remember what the code was again obviously he should've done a complete check since the machine had displayed a code I don't know if it's because I was at home and my wife was the one at home. And she may not know what question to askHe should have do a complete properly job because if I was there, I certainly wouldn't let him leave without doing a complete proper job which is the reason why I'm very disappointed

GE Fridge/freezer repair

While Kareem D was friendly and polite, he did not send needed replacement part numbers to GE. I was told that GE would call me within 24-48 hrs which they didn't. When I called 4 days later, GE had nothing in their records from Kareem about the compressor failure. Now, I find out that GE no longer is doing business with Sears Home Services (Kareem), andhave to wait another 5 days to have a new technician come out and start the process all over again.

Poor Service

The repair to my washing machine required it to be taken apart to replace the control board. The machine was not properly reassembled once the control board was replaced. The components (i.e., top and display panel) were not properly aligned as before and are now disjointed and the drawer used for dispensing the detergent is not properly aligned and no longer closes flush as before. Additionally, the touch icon for turning the light off and on no longer works as before the repairs by the technician. I brought the issue of the light not working properly to the technician's attention and he told me to call in another service order to get it fixed. This technician created a new problem in the process of repairing my original issue (i.e., replacing the control board) and had no desire to take the time to ensure all features of the machine worked properly as it should.

Ice maker has not worked since June after many technicians

Service is terrible! I have been calling since June to get an ice maker working! It is now September. Technicians just keep replacing parts and nothing working! Worst service ever!

Tech wouldn't even look at the hood range until he collected a check & deposited. Technician keep stating that, he is just a messenger and at the end he said the unit is not covered. When called in & explained the whole situation - the agent from the company stated it was covered.
