The dispatcher failed to relay initial problem to initial tech. Initial tech misdiagnosed the problem even though the unit displayed “DEMO” . A simple software reset issue that neither tech knew how to bypass. Even after second tech call for expert help he could not find the correct procedure. After installing new parts that were not needed the original problem prevailed. “DEMO” mode. MW not heating. The second tech eventually found documented instructions on how to eliminate the fault. Techs utilized my resources and assistance to effect the reset, repairs to my wall, my resources and an outlay of $456 because of incorrect diagnoses which by the way amounted to an assumption that the problem is normally one or the other of the two parts recommended for replacement. I purchased a service for the unit which was suppose to deduct $25 from initial service. None of that happened. I expect remediation for this calamity of errors

This is our fifth straight day of cancelled appointments. We have the part and have sat home for 5 days.

I never had a service done because GE rectified the problem. They did so because Sears missed two appointments prior to this one which I tried to cancel and then they were actually coming !! Ugh!

I sent the serial number through the app but Scott said they never give it to the technician. He asked me what the problem was before coming out and I told him. Then when he came and took a Quick Look he tells me they don’t make this part anymore. $119 dollars to inform me of something he could have known and told ahead of time

Sears no longer exists at this location. Out of business. I can’t get rid of this on Google Maps so I’ll just have to rate this as a 1-star.
