Edit: Boosting from 2 star to 3 star. Technicians were able to make things right, and the unit is working just fine now. I am keeping the rating at 3 stars because of the phone service. Sears advertises a 90 free repair for the same problem that was fixed, but there is no way to call and have this done. I had to make a brand new appointment with a technician, and I could not notify them of the problem until they came to my house, but they were able to do the repairs for free as advertised after that. The phone system needs to be reworked so a person can be reached to fix problems like these. Technician was professional and timely, but after a week the fix to my refrigerator is not working. There is no way to contact a real person at sears to have this problem rectified since all you can call is a robot that will never take you to a representative. I need my fridge fixed, and I will update my review if sears is able to reach out and fix this problem is a fast and responsive manor.

When I schedule the appointment on Sears website I listed the maker and model number of my washer, I stated that the lid would not lock so the washer would not start, Technician did not have the part and offered to order the part and MAY be able to come back Saturday, Today is Wednesday, Also I would have to pay $389.00 up front. I would think that since I listed the problem that they would have brought the part. Not faulting the technician I decline repairs and paid the $129.00 diagnostic charge for him coming out. I can repair it myself, It's on Google. I'm done. Below it ask what service did they perform, None.

My washing machine was out since the-beginning of Jan. Sears sent out a tech to diagnose the problem and found out that my machine needs rods,lid latch and a control board. The order was placed for the parts in January I’m still waiting on the control board. I called Sears several times you cannot get through. I’m getting these automated messages saying please set up your appointment to finish the repair or your order will be canceled. whenever I set the appointment up they never show because the part hasn’t arrived yet right now we’re stuck between a rock and a hard place spending money going to the laundromat still yet I have not spoke to anyone concerning the control board. Giving a one star is being very generous.

I had the technicians come out 3 separate times for the same issue. I paid the “call out” fee of $129 twice. The issue is still not resolved and they have no idea what’s causing the leak from my refrigerator. I will be looking elsewhere in the future.

Horrible. After 1st visit they ordered part and said they needed to come back to repair dishwasher. After 2nd visit the technician never showed and said they couldn’t repair dishwasher because of unseen circumstances. Because of unseen circumstances they forced a video call to look at dish washer and never went through with the video call. instead they claim because of unseen circumstances that they couldn’t complete the job.

Our experience with Sears Home Services has been nothing short of frustrating. We scheduled HVAC repairs for our unit, and the technician failed to show up not once, but twice—over a span of 13 days. During this time, we were left without air conditioning with an infant in the home. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication. We received no updates, no calls, and no explanations from the technician nor Sears customer service. Every attempt to follow up was met with long hold times and no resolution. This level of service is unacceptable. If you're in need of timely, reliable repairs—especially in urgent situations—do yourself a favor and go with a reputable local contractor. Owner will probably post a phone number in the response to review to contact Sear... Just save your sanity and stay away from this company

I have been waiting for them to come out to fix my dishwasher. they have rescheduled my appointment four times now only showing up for one canceling at the last minute for the rest. I have never seen anything so unprofessional. I will never use sears anything ever again

If I could give them a zero I would! Set an appointment for an initial diagnosis and waited all day (Saturday) and they were a no show. Was sent a text that it was rescheduled for Monday. Technician arrive in the timeframe, diagnosed based on what I told him and did not check for anything else. Charged us for the initial visit, $129.00, part $39.00 and labor to install the new part $194.49 for a total of $362.94. Technician scheduled the next appointment for Thursday, part was delivered to me on Wednesday and no one showed up to replace the part on Thursday. They rescheduled the appointment for Friday and again no one showed up. I called numerous times on Thursday and Friday and could not get anyone local — everyone that answered was out of the country. They could not connect me to the local dispatch. All communication was either by text, online or a call center out of the country. I have requested a refund but, of course, I’m still waiting. Sham on us for paying in advance thinking “Sears” was a reputable company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Nothing but a headache and a bunch of thieves. Will report them to the BBB.

I had an appointment set up for today at noon. It was then changed to 12:30 to 1pm. Then changed again to 1pm to 1:30. I was never notified of any changes to the appointment. I understand things change but at least notify me so I can be here. If you can't communicate with your customers then you can't get any business.
