The service we received from Sears was awful. On 7/29/ 2024 a tech visit us for a refrigerator repair. He determined it was the compressor , ordered a new compressor that was under manufacturer guarantee ! The compressor arrived, the appointment for replacement was cancelled because others parts were not available, finally when the tech came , it was not the correct compressor so he had to reorder adding two more weeks! The tech replaced the compressor but the refrigerator does not work, same issue do not maintain a cold temp and does not freeze. I try to talk to a person with no results a new appointment was set for 8/29/24. I made arrangements to stay at home that day, but the appointment was cancelled without contacting me personally! I am disappointed ! I will never use Sears again, nor recommended to anyone!

Service was very good, as usual. My problem is with the charge of $170 labor for less than five minutes of work. This includes the $80 "diagnostic fee," which was applied even though no diagnosis was needed (I told him it was a bad switch, and he replaced it).
