Our repair technician, Donald, was very polite, found our washer’s problem very quickly, ordered the necessary part and then returned to install it efficiently. We were very pleased with Donald’s work! However, the organization and administration of the repair service was awful. To be told that you need to stay home for 9 hours to have repair service is totally unacceptable. The coordinator of service scheduling is incompetent, disorganized and communicates poorly with clients. Early in the day, the client should be told that the service repair will happen in the am or pm. There should not be a 9 hour window of waiting; by the day of the repair, the client should know to expect the service to be early am, mid/late morning, early afternoon or late afternoon. A well organized service should be able to narrow the arrival of the repair technician to a 2-4 hour window. We received an email at 6:59 am saying the repair would take place between 8 am and 5 pm. We next had a phone call after 2 pm saying the repair technician was on his way. In the meantime, we were sitting at the house all day waiting for some communication from Sears. This is not our idea of good or excellent service. Note that we do not fault or blame the repair technician for this; this is totally a problem with the service coordinator/scheduler and needs to be improved immediately.

Although issue was not fixed, representative was polite, professional to a point. Dissatisfied with very high cost and unavailable parts to repair my washing machine. Representative blamed it on company and management for not having proper tools to fix machine and for excessively high prices being charged to its customers.

Technician was very helpful and fixed the issue immediately. My only complaint is the cost was outrageous for a spark plug issue. I have been using gas powered lawn equipment and thought it was another problem. Almost $300 for this is ridiculous.
