I Made a repair appointment with the online chat AI for a dryer repair, was given a next day appointment with a SIX hour time slot. Waited all day and no technician showed up, and no courtesy phone call either. Then after searching high and low for a phone number to connect me to a live person to talk to, she tells me, "sorry, the tech couldn't make it, you'll need to reschedule for four days from now". I said I can not wait til then, thanks alot. Going to buy a new dryer after this!

I called for service on my washer-quite a fiasco. Was told 1-5pm, arranged to leave work early and they arrived at 10:50am-good luck getting them back. Customer service is unbelievable! Was told 3 times service individual would return that day never to be seen. The people on the phone do not know what is going on and are trained to repeat “we apologize” and do not solve any issues AT ALL. The funny part is that they requested payment BEFORE the appointment - so glad I didn’t pay! I probably would have never received my money back for a no show. I called another company who accommodated my needs in a professional and straight-forward manner. I would never call this organization for service again. They also had me confirm my telephone numbers, email address, address, etc. every single time I called - well just to arrange an appointment that never happened, that was about 8 calls! Information confirmed 8 times! Ridiculous! The day after the failed appointment, I was contacted by an individual (that I could actually understand) trying to sell Sears services! The only accomplishment by calling Sears appliance repair was the fact that Sears obtained my information so they can call, send emails, etc. trying to sell services! Don’t do it!

My Ice Maker was not working properly, some cubes came out as water and created an ice burg in bin. The repairman (Jay) said most refrigerators' are cheaply built and he defrosted icemaker and left approximately 30 minutes on site. He billed me $339.15. He did speculate that perhaps a valve was not working properly and he could change it out for another fee. He did not fill me with confidence. There is now more water coming out of ice maker into bin than before (see attached photo of ice burg build up). Either send someone here who knows how to fix it, or provide a refund.

DO NOT CALL these guys. I was scheduled for repair to fridge today. The website showed 2:30 est arrival, then 4:30, then no time, then rescheduled to tomorrow 6/26. I took the day off work for this and fridge still isn't working. I could not reach a live person to find out why my appointment was rescheduled. Very unhappy with the customer service, or lack thereof. Will not bother with Sears service again.
