The Sears appliance repair person that actually showed up to my house was wonderful. He deserves 5 ⭐️s. He checked most all my appliances (except the fridge, not his specialty) and gave me some great tips. However Sears call center sucks! Switched to person after person. Have to retell what’s wrong. No supervisors. Schedule appointment to fix my refrigerator, then they don’t show up. Call again, get an AI bot. Ask to speak to a human representative, told none are available. Mind you this is on a week day. Hang up, call again and miraculously I get a human. Tell my plight, get transferred, get hung up on. Call again. Told I never made an appointment but they’ll reschedule. Reschedule for the next day. Get a confirmation text the morning of the repair, then get a text in the afternoon that they have to cancel. They won’t be able to come till July 29th. My refrigerator went down almost a month ago and still waiting for it to be repaired. Although I have a Protection Agreement, they won’t let me get a local refrigeration repair to fix it, then reimburse me.

Repairman did not appear to be professional. Both in appearance and knowledge. First 2 appts were no shows. He was going to order us a new ice maker when we really needed a new compressor. My husband had to give him the idea that the compressor could be the problem. He said the compressor sounded like it was working. He hadn't even tested it! After several hours he left after ordering a new compressor. Today he replaced it. After he left I realized there was black soot on everything on the first floor. Black soot!! Where did that ever come from?? I should send the cleaning bill to Sears Appliance Repair. Ten weeks to get the compressor replaced!!

The frig is still not fixed. I need to schedule another appointment. It would be super helpful to have a phone number to reach a live person. I have no idea how to contact the company again.

The repair man actually showed up this time. Which is why he earned one star. The first appointment was a no show. He checked to see if any wires were burnt and said nothing was wrong. He never bothered to run the oven long enough to actually diagnose the burning chemical smell coming from the oven. And now when you turn the oven on it is making a loud whining noise and it stinks more than ever. The stove/oven is only 5 months old. I am very disappointed with the lack of skill and care.

The service man admitted he was not trained on servicing washing machines. He ran a cycle on the empty washer for 45 minutes and said it seemed ok. He didn’t do any of the checks previous technicians did. Him being here was a waste of time. Very unsatisfactory visit.

The appointment was terrible because no one showed up. Even though the website said that they did. So we still have an unfixed dryer that needs to be fixed. We have all of the parts for two months now and no one has been by to fix our dryer even though we have reschedule five different times. Get someone to our house and fix our dryer already.
