There was no repair. The technician just exchanged old worn out parts for new ones with a screw driver. I can do that myself.

This is a mixed review. I have American Home Shield and made a request for an appointment on Weds for repair. I received confirmation of an appointment for the next day between 8am-5pm. No one showed. That evening I got a text saying my appointment was rescheduled for Friday between 8am-5pm. At 2:30pm, I called AHS and was told that I was on a waitlist and never had a "real" appointment. She called Sears with a number NOT available to the public and was able to get me a "real" appointment on Saturday again between 8am-5pm. A technician finally arrived a little after 12pm on Saturday. Not the most friendly person, but was cordial and knowledgeable. He noted that the wall between the freezer and refrigerator was frozen. This has happened once before and we told him that we had already unplugged and defrosted for 24hrs-same as we did last time but that didn't help. He went out to his truck and used a steam machine that cleared the ice within minutes. He put the shelves back and cleaned up and was gone all in under 30minutes. He was awesome. Sears needs to be more transparent about their appointment process AND provide an actual customer service phone number instead of only offering a voice recorded status message. Do better.

It took almost 3 weeks to get my washer repaired. First, it took a while to get the appointment. Secondly, the technician came out and diagnosed the problem to be a faulty drain motor. He had to order the motor which took a week to come in. He then was not able to come back on time to replace the motor as schedule. And it took 2 weeks for me to get a new appointment. This is unacceptable, especially after learning that only one technician in my tri-state area that does washing machines. This was very disappointing to hear for a service that cost so much money annually. Needless to say, I am not happy and would be looking for a replacement service at the end of this year's contract
