This is a mixed review. I have American Home Shield and made a request for an appointment on Weds for repair. I received confirmation of an appointment for the next day between 8am-5pm. No one showed. That evening I got a text saying my appointment was rescheduled for Friday between 8am-5pm. At 2:30pm, I called AHS and was told that I was on a waitlist and never had a "real" appointment. She called Sears with a number NOT available to the public and was able to get me a "real" appointment on Saturday again between 8am-5pm. A technician finally arrived a little after 12pm on Saturday. Not the most friendly person, but was cordial and knowledgeable. He noted that the wall between the freezer and refrigerator was frozen. This has happened once before and we told him that we had already unplugged and defrosted for 24hrs-same as we did last time but that didn't help. He went out to his truck and used a steam machine that cleared the ice within minutes. He put the shelves back and cleaned up and was gone all in under 30minutes. He was awesome. Sears needs to be more transparent about their appointment process AND provide an actual customer service phone number instead of only offering a voice recorded status message. Do better.

I was shocked and appalled when he said the tip should be paid in cash bcz it could not be added to the credit card!

It took almost 3 weeks to get my washer repaired. First, it took a while to get the appointment. Secondly, the technician came out and diagnosed the problem to be a faulty drain motor. He had to order the motor which took a week to come in. He then was not able to come back on time to replace the motor as schedule. And it took 2 weeks for me to get a new appointment. This is unacceptable, especially after learning that only one technician in my tri-state area that does washing machines. This was very disappointing to hear for a service that cost so much money annually. Needless to say, I am not happy and would be looking for a replacement service at the end of this year's contract

Sears never provided any service. They canceled 3 times. Sent a part without reviewing the appliance. Had us waiting for 3 weeks with no service and then sent a confirmation email asking how we enjoyed their service. We had to find a different provider, who not only came out with in 24hrs to assess the appliance, they discovered that the issue was an entirely different part that needed to be replaced.

I’m usually very pleased with Sears but this time I had 2 canceled appointments, the RUDE repairman refuses to order the warrantied piece (water dispenser) stating it isn’t necessary and today he wasn’t supposed to come until after 2 but showed up at 8am without a text notification that he was on his way. Would anyone like to drink this water?

it took close to a month for a repair(ended up replacement) of my ice maker. Die no notify me when repairman was not coming. WAITED 8-5. Your window is too long. Repairman should carry parts or order parts before answering second call. The repairman was efficient, pleasant and left no mess. He gets a gold star. AI system is difficult to deal with. There should be a option to speak to a human.

A technician was supposed to show up at my house to look at my dishwasher between 1 and 5 today. They sent me a confirmation email yesterday stating that if I cancel <24 hours, I would get charged. I confirmed the appointment. I took a day off from work. I was waiting and waiting. Around 2:30, I called 1-800 number to see where they were at. They said no technician was available to come out today, and they scheduled me for Sept 13. I complained because I do not have another day that I can take off from work. They transferred me over to a customer compliant department. The woman basically did nothing. My only day off for this year got wasted.
