I purchased a 5 burner cooktop from Sears 9 years ago. They came today and charged $149 to tell me they no longer make the parts for my cooktop. I told them what the issue was and they coukld have saved me the time and money over the phone. I have been a loyal Sears customer fpor over 30 years. Bye Bye Sears

From start to finish this process has been disappointing! The technician came on the 1st day, (bet 3:30-4pm), found out what part needed to be ordered, didn't show up on the date (2nd) scheduled to install, had me wait another week only to find out it was the wrong part. I had to pay $341.63 in total. $280.00 of that was so-called labor charges. (repair costs & taxes, labor taxes, tax on parts) SO MANY DIFFERENT CHARGES for a 15 minute job! Extremely difficult to find a customer service representative. I DO NOT recommend this service. Just because it says SEARS doesn't mean it's reputable.

The technician was unprofessional and disrespectful of my home. After requesting payment without heat being restored ($149 service fee + 150 parts fee) he wanted to leave his card so he could come back and finish off line for an additional fee!
