The issue was not resolved. I'm not sure if it was the diagnosis or the repair, but it's exactly the same. I have no idea how to even contact someone to follow up.

I would give you zero Stars if I could and I'm going to post this on my girlfriend's social media If you don't respond and make this right. She has nearly 550,000 followers. I set up this appointment a week ago. You messaged me at 4:32 this morning saying that the technician would be to my house between 9:08 and 10:01 a.m. He then called me not once but twice to confirm he was on his way. I have screenshots of all of this. I thus came home from the office and waited. I have a screenshot showing that at 9:38 it still showed he was scheduled to arrive at 9:31 then just after 10:00. Suddenly the screens disappeared and I said and it said that I had an appointment between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. then I called and spent nearly an hour and 10 minutes on the phone. Finally getting to a human who told me that you were on your way but delayed and would be to my house between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. so I continued to wait and I cannot work remotely. So I skipped a day of work which cost me A day's wages then around 3:00 p.m. I received a notice saying that you had assigned the work to another vendor and they would be in touch with me within 24 hours. Is this a joke? No one showed up. The other vendor said they might be able to come next week when I finally did get their contact information and you cost me over $1,000 because I missed a day of work I'm disgusted

Still not working properly was told that I only had to pay the 129 fee If no labor or work was done, but there was so I was surprised that I was charged even more money than 129 not to mention it’s still not working

Sears appt. originally quoted a service call fee of $129.00 to which I declined. Then told they could and would drop it to $99.00. Tech showed, didn't even check out problem and said, "you need a new value, which will cost you something like $469.00." Told the tech that the cost was ridiculous, we'd pay $99.00 fee quoted, at which time he said it's $129.00. I told him to leave my home (over cell phone), before I called Police. He said, "you just don't want to pay" AND he forged names to our documents. One he forged was my name, and I wasn't ever near the house! Bad service, lies, bad attitude, forgery and combative. Don't call Sears for anything!

I would give this 0 stars if possible. Instead of fixing the ice maker, now our water dispenser doesn’t work. The tech didn’t even have the right tools to fix the problem. They’re set up to fail, and they’re not allowed to give me their manager’s number. Does Sears even read these reviews? Are you serious when you say to call the 1-800 number? I’ve tried calling over a dozen times and can’t reach a human. Everything has been outsourced to AI. I canceled the warranty, and they charged me over $200 for the remainder of the contract plus a $25 fee! This is ludicrous. I’ve honestly never experienced such horrible and unethical customer service.

This was the worst service ever. 1) they only provided an 8 hour service window until the day of the service. We couldn't plan our day until the tech called us. 2) we received over 10 confirmation texts until the "AI" figured out we really did want that day! 3) The schedule showed the tech would arrive between 4-5pm, but he called and told us it would be around 11AM. What? 4) the technician arrived but had no idea what he was supposed to be repairing (a Whirlpool sealed unit). The warranty group I was working through claimed they gave all the information to Sears. 5) as a result he didn't have the part. 6) but he claimed the part was under warranty by Whirlpool and so he wouldn't have been able to repair it in any event without violating the warranty. 7) But, a call into Whirlpool indicated that in fact that part was not in warranty. So, in short, I will not use Sears Appliance Repair ever, if I can find any way to avoid it.

Sears used to have great service but not anymore. My fridge quit being cold but the freezer was still working. When I made the appointment they asked for the model number saying that the repair would be faster because they could have parts ready. The technician arrived the next day to diagnose and asked me for the model number so he could order and clearly didn’t have it and told me I had to wait 5 days for the parts to arrive. After 5 long days of living out of my camping cooler another technician arrived and completed the repair but told me that the previous technician should have had me unplug my fridge and because he didn’t the components froze over and now I would have to leave it unplugged for 3 days to defrost. So total of 8 days without a refrigerator. I’m sure any other company could have had it done in a day but I felt locked in because I had signed up for their warranty program already. Also you have to sign a form saying they aren’t responsible for floor damage or they won’t do the repairs which is horrible because then they don’t have to take responsibility for damage they cause and they don’t tell you upfront. I have brand new floors put in 3 months prior and that made me really nervous. Also they only use AI to schedule appointments so if you’re unhappy you don’t have any real people to talk to. Sears really needs to get their stuff together if they want to keep clients - just terrible service. Save yourself a headache and call someone else
