The technician who did the dryer repair is excellent. What I can say about Sears is that they hire great people who repair home appliances. Not only did James (the technician) do a great job with the repair, but he offered valuable information on how to better maintain my washer and what type of problems warrant a call for repairs for the washer/dryer. 100% recommend James for his excellent service.

Great job fixing the dishwasher and diagnosing the fridge. I wish they left me a detailed list of repairs needed and what damages were done.

I was a bit concerned that he had to call someone else to ask where the parts went and how did the cook top raise. Not questions I would expect from trained repair technicians.

It only took 3 months to fix.

Prepaid for my refrigerator door repair and scheduled the follow-up appointment at the time of my prepayment. The Sears company cancelled at 3pm on the very day they were supposed to show up. The Sears repair company offered to come the following week, then called to offer a sooner date, which I accepted. On that sooner date at 1pm, the repair person had not shown up and his phone was not answering any calls but was taking messages. I left a message that if he didn’t show up on that day, I was going to cancel the work order, demand a refund of my prepayment, and do the work myself. He showed up 30 minutes later and did the work in 1 hour or by 230pm. He told me he had 3 more appointments before 5pm. I suspect the Sears people overbook and make a judgement as to who to delay when they are overbooked. I suspect that if you prepay, you become the first on the list to be pushed back because you have already paid them.
