The repair of our Samsung Oven is complete. The oven would not heat. I imagined that the gas igniter failed. I contacted the repair service on line last Tuesday and received an appointment for a service diagnosis for $125 ( to be applied to the repair cost if I chose to have the repair.) I included the Model number an Serial number in the on line request with a photo of the oven. The appointment was for Thursday July 17 to occur between 1pm and 5 pm. The repair man arrived after 4pm, checked the Mo. no. and SN, tried the oven controls, said he'd have to check on the availability of the new ignitor, went to his van, made a call. When he returned, asked me if I wanted to sit down... NO. He reported the repair would be $720.01. I agreed to have the work done. He ordered the part, with delivery to me at our home. The part arrived Saturday. I received a text saying the repair was to occur Tuesday July 22 between 1-5pm. A revised text said he'd be there about 3:25pm, at about 3:45, a text saying between 4:00 and 6:00. I think he did show up about 4:30, repair complete by 5:30. Oven works. The repairman was quick, tidy pleasant, efficient having driven to Warren after working in Cleveland all day. (That's about a 2 hr drive depending on where he started from and traffic at that time of day)

The technician was great. He fixed the issue. The whole experience would have been better if when he came out first time he had burner on truck. But as it is today I am sure no two burners are the same. His truck would have to be a semi truck. When he was scheduled to come out second time at 2:00pm I received message he would not be out. I had to burn 3 vacation days to get stove fixed. I received about five messages to make sure I would be here for appointment. A better estimate of when they would be nice besides 8-5. My plumber does a better job. To summarize, the technician is good, the scheduling and logistics is not.

They confirmed the 8 am to 12 pm appointment 4 times. The guy showed up at 2:30 . He fixed my issue but what the point on the 4 confirmations. If yall don't show up in that time. I understand other appointments and they might have taken longer but really it was a waste of a day.

I wouldn’t recommend using this service if you have a newer model appliance. Service technician was not at all familiar with the model refrigerator and had no idea how to diagnose the problem. Left after 10 minutes of doing nothing and still charged 138.00 for the service call. Didn’t fix anything and didn’t begin to know how! Absolutely a waste of money and had no remorse asking for payment even after admitting he had no idea how to service the appliance. This company should be ashamed to do that to a customer. Absolutely no reason for it! One star is too many.

Paid 130$ to have someone come out for 30 minutes and tell me I’m better off getting a new dishwasher. I understand having to pay some kind of standard fee especially if no work is done but at that price id have been better off just googling and watching YouTube videos to come to the same conclusion. 40-60 bucks for 30 minutes of looking at a dishwasher would have been a reasonable fee, but 130 bucks for less then an hour of just looking at something is ridicules. I do not recommend.
