This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They have you waiting all day for service 8am-6pm. They don’t have the courtesy to call or text with a window of arrival. I have been dealing with them for 30 days for repair of my refrigerator and again today they don’t show up for a scheduled appointment. No call , no text just don’t show up.

Waited almost 7 weeks for a part before getting a text saying it’s been delivered so I scheduled an appointment and took off work only to have the technician call and ask if i have the part. And the inability to talk to a human makes the Sears service unbearable. Nobody in their chat support is capable of answering any questions like - is Sears actually in possession of the part. I canceled my service and got a refund. I called A-1 Appliances. They had the part in stock and came out within 2 days. I will never use Sears again and wouldn’t recommend their service to anyone.

The problem still persists and the technician didn’t believe when I was sharing with him on furnance tech feedback . He insisted on not investigated further even after me sharing and insisting . He stayed firm with his observation and we have the same problem back in 2 days and now I have to pay again to call tech

Scheduling online was confusing. Online assistance - both bot and live, were not helpful. and twice we were assigned the wrong repair person( air conditioner instead of washer/dryer).

I have had a service order that has been in the works since the end of August, it is now nearing the end of January. Parts have been ordered incorrectly multiple times, or not ordered at all. Techs show up and order the correct part number, then no parts show up. So when the tech shows up, they have nothing to work on and the status of the shipment had been cancelled. We've now gone through the same reordering process 3 TIMES! Reaching anyone for help is literally impossible. The website will show I have an outstanding service order, yet the system claims I have no outstanding appointments. There is no way reach any actual person to figure out what is going on, and the same tech who has shown up to our house multiple times has failed multiple times to call me back for any kind of update. This has been excruciatingly frustrating and has been the worst customer service I have ever received.

ZERO stars. Working with Sears appliance repair to get our dryer fixed has been the biggest hassle. The first person that came out to diagnose the issue broke another part of the dryer. Okay-mistakes happen and they offered to fix that part free of charge. Second visit, repairman showed up at 3:48 when my window was 8-12 and had the part to fix what the first one broke but NOT the heating element which was the original problem. We accepted this as a misunderstanding, paid for the heating element and labor up front (bc apparently that’s the way it has to be done and why the heating element was not ordered after the first visit-which we were never told), and were rescheduled. Day of reschedule, our appointment window comes and goes with no repair person showing up. I semi expected this since there had been some snow but no one ever called us to communicate or reschedule, and the roads were cleared within our time window, so I thought there was still a chance they would show up- especially after being so late the time before. Nope. Never showed up, never called. But they already have our money, so we rescheduled again. Appointment window was 1-5 yesterday, no one showed up, no one called. You can NEVER get ahold of a live person regardless of what option you choose on the phone. So at this point, we’re disputing the charges we’ve paid with our credit card company since we’ve paid for parts and service we’ve not received. Save yourself the headache and go with literally any other repair company. The actual repair people who’ve showed up were professional and polite, but both times seemed confused and utterly unaware of scheduling/appointment windows, why the heating element wasn’t ordered after the initial diagnosis visit or how to get ahold of a supervisor who could give them our account information. Apparently the communication with their service techs in the field is as lacking as it is with customers. Here we are almost a month later from the first appointment, and I still can’t dry my laundry. Disaster of a company. Avoid at all costs. On every negative review, Sears comments to contact them directly via the website or phone number. This is laughable since one can still never speak to a live person. It’s all AI-generated “troubleshooting” and scheduling.
