This simple fix took two weeks and two visits. The repair guy showed up in a personal vehicle without any parts. GE icemakers are well known to be under-designed. He could’ve fixed it in 20 minutes in one visit. Instead, he came in and looked at it, then had to order the parts and have them delivered to my house! The repair was scheduled a full two weeks later. The parts showed up within two days. The repair company has no contact information that would allow you to call them to let them know the parts came in so they could finish the job. Fortunately for us, we have a 30+ year-old GE refrigerator freezer in my basement still working. We waited the two weeks for the repair man to come back. I could’ve installed the motor/fan myself but didn’t want to risk voiding my “warranty“. In hindsight, I should’ve installed the parts myself because the repair guy forgot to connect the icemaker. The warranty process was more painful than the actual failure of the part.

This is for my AC repair I waited 3 months and still issue is not resolved. It's going back and forth with the insurance company. They bring the parts and still not fixed. Sometimes during the appointment technician doesn't even show up. Very bad communication between this company and my insurance company. Blaming each other. I'm the one who's suffering in between. Following is my first review back in 2 months ago During the first visit Technician said there's one blower just need to replace and it's a 5 minutes job and they ordered for that. Again it took a week for another appointment and now new technician came and he said there's another part also needed and again new claim to insurance and now that's also approved. Again for next appointment it's another more than couple of days. With this hot weather especially it's too hard to survive without AC. As a professional technicians they should order all required parts at once and in next visit should be able to fix instead for each visit coming up with new issue and not fixing the problem. Not at all happy with what ever happened so far already from my claim date it's almost 1 month and still issue not fixed even after my insurance company approved for required parts immediately.

They canceled my appointment 5 minutes before it was scheduled no apologies or cares. That was a couple weeks ago and my washer is still broken. Its been a joy going to the laundromat 😑

I have not had a service tech over to my house today. I'm looking for somebody to fix. My refrigerator are replace it and I spent 10 hours with no service on June the ninth I need someone at my house today to either fix it or replace it. I am not happy because the Lowe's warranties are a joke. So I would appreciate if someone comes to my house today to repair my refrigerator and I have not had anyone over to date and today, they're supposed to service. Terrible Customer Service. Very hard to get hold of a human. Had out for compressor replacement on a fridge. Worked great for a week. Then died. Second tech came out and advised we need dryer part as other tech probably overfilled system. Been waiting on dryer for over 2 months. Had scheduled appt today never showed up. Lied to me all day saying tech had part. Find out at end of day they didn’t ever have part. Trying to get refund but like pulling teeth. Would never recommend this farce of a company. Beware!

Technician was courteous and nice. But could not fix the refrigerator. Customer service ( scheduling , central 800 number responses , AI responses ) is poor/awful at Sears home services. I would never use them again.

I would not recommend this place for ANYTHING!!!! We bought a 5 yr. warranty and our mower was down at this place every year...FOR THE SAME PROBLEM!! Plus each time they had it over a month each time. Last year they had it in early spring, they had to come back and get it and I had to call and tell them that if I didn't have it back in a week, I was going to report them to everyone across the board. Now, we go to mow the grass, and the same thing is wrong with it, only now, our warranty has expired and we are out a mower b/c of their stupidity and lazy not experienced, we have to buy a new lawnmower. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

This company was sent through my home warranty and sent someone on a Monday that had no parts with him and told my husband he had a rental car that day. I also sent a picture the day I made the appointment of the model and serial number and got a call from someone who asked for the model and serial number, after giving it twice before the appointment they still sent someone with no parts. He said they had the parts at the warehouse after looking it up and scheduled us for Friday. We were selling our house and had a very short timeframe but had they come on Friday as they said, we would have been fine. I got multiple appointments reminders even the day of the appointment but then it was cancelled that say. I couldn’t talk to anyone and eventually the home warranty got a person and they said a delay in parts. It was a heating element and I could have bought the parts so that made no sense. Horrible customer service and I had to pay Rippe brothers to come fix. They came last minute with the correct parts, no problem. Use them instead.
