I wish there was something lower than 1 star to give. A technician was at my home on 4/9 to look at my refrigerator. He found that the compressor had failed and would need to be replaced. The part is still under warranty. The technician put in a parts order for the compressor and indicated that it would be delivered to my home in a week or so. I gave it a couple weeks and then started attempting to get an update on the parts order. No one will respond. I've called the 1-800 number and they said that I would get a call within 72 hours. My call was not returned. I called back after a week and got the same deal - that a message was being sent to parts department and they'd contact me in 72 hours. Same result - no one called. So I moved to the Facebook page. Whoever is answering that gave the same story that they'd forward my message to the parts department with the same 72 hour window. Of course no one responded. Waited a week and tried again asking for a manager to call. Facebook apologized and said my concern would be sent to a manager and I would get a call. Still nothing. We're approaching 2 months and no one even has the courtesy to call. You can ignore the standard response being given about reaching out via Facebook. That will get you nowhere. It's obvious that they don't want to honor the warranty and are making it so difficult that I give up and go buy a new refrigerator.

If I could give you 0 stars, I would. I was assigned to you through Choice Home Warranty for my refrigerator repair. April 17th, the technician Scott came out for diagnostic testing. He found that two parts were needed: main board and something for the cooling. I was advised that he would be back on April 24th to install the reports. April 24th came and I didn't hear anything, so I reached out and I was told that you couldn't find anything. I went back and forth between your company from the 24th through the 25th of April. I even sent Scott a text on 4/24 to see when the parts would be installed which he replied that he doesn't know anything unless it's on his route. I reached back out to CHW which only provided a message to get into contact with Scott. I left Scott voicemails on 5/4, 5/6, and 5/10. On 5/13 I sent another text that went unanswered. I reached back out to you on 5/15, that's when I found out that the claim was closed. I asked to speak with a manager, which I was DENIED and I was told that a new claim would be opened. I specifically requested for it NOT to be the same tech! An appointment was rescheduled for 5/17 and 5/23. On 5/17/2024, it was Scott, again! He told me that the claim was closed because the parts are covered for 5 years by GE and pulled up something on GOOGLE to show me. I contacted GE with him still at my home and the representative told him, my refrigerator's warranty expired and it was only for a year; the GE Profile refrigerator is covered under the 5 year warranty. This infuriated me because when he was at my housed and checked, he said that my refrigerator was no longer under the 1 year warranty on 4/17 so how did he jump to there being a 5 year warranty. AND, CHW had already APPROVED the work so why was there a need for anything else needed to be researched besides ordering parts?!?!? Per Scott, the parts were going to be ordered. On 5/23/2024, Scott arrived, but guess what didn't....the parts! Your company is very unorganized and it's ridiculous that I wasn't able to speak with a manager via the call center or when I talked to Scott (I was told his manager only wants to communicate through the technician in private). I'm out $1K because I had to buy a secondary refrigerator, a month wasted because of a lack of communication and someone did a poor job of researching something that wasn't required!

After diagnosing my problem, I was no-call no-showed twice in the two weeks that followed. Spent over 2 hours total on the phone, and had to use 13 IVR prompts to “schedule a new appointment” “without a home warranty” to talk to a person. (Not an exaggeration - this is the IVR prompt to talk to a person about my ice maker 2223211221221 - photo attached.) This is AFTER I called immediately following the appointment because after the technician dismantled the ice maker, my freezer made a horrifying noise for a week. They said they’d send someone out to look at that too right away. Not sure if it corrected itself or shattered - only time and destroyed meat will tell. Unfortunately, they seem to have a monopoly on home repair service dispatch for warranty companies these days. So good luck! 🍀

The service I got was the worst I have ever had to deal with from any company in my life. I am only giving one star, only wish you could give a negative star review and they would get a ten for that. I had to take off work 7 times in order to get my freezer repaired. They didn’t care at all about that. The money I lost due to that is unreal. They kept sending techs out who didn’t have my parts and every time I would call and tell them, they would promise me the right tech would be coming. That’s a freaking lie. And then you would wonder if the tech who had my parts the whole time thought why I am not being scheduled to put these on? And then Assurant warranty company was just as bad because they would just put it on A&E the whole time. So if you want your appliance fixed right and not have to take a lot days off work then I would not use A&E repair service.

Had an appointment for 12/15 from 8 to 5pm. The technician didn’t show up and then lied and said they came and missed us at 5:44pm. We were home the whole time and they didn’t show up. They didn’t call or anything. It said my technician’s name was Sean who supposedly had 5 stars. I called the 800 number and they said they would leave a message for the technician to call me. They didn’t call me (big surprise). I called back later the same night and asked them to have the technician come the next morning and they left him that message. The next day, they had automatically rescheduled the appointment for 12/22 a week later! This is unacceptable! No call and no show? I thought Sears was a reputable company.
